The sun rose high in the sky of a large and lush land of beauty called Nombergoth. The land was as great as it's benevolent monarch. The trees grew with pride up almost touching the heavens above. So the people grew. The small villages fathered it's people. The villagers lived in happiness and peace. The people loved their king and queen. The monarch consisted of a leader by the name of King Hilger and his wife Queen Cathrine. Their children went by birth, Prince Nathaniel and Prince Thacery. Prince Nathaniel was a noble son who was a warrior as much as a gentleman. A crafty swordsman and wonderful scholar is the future king of this beautiful land. His handsome features and brillant thoughts have been talked about threw out the villages. Many women have gone for the heart of the son of the king. He refused the many hands, but his heart were for two things, God himself and one women. The women he loved was a noble women the daughter of the archbishop Lord Miardo. Her name was Illeandra.
Nathaniel stood ouside his large lavaged bedroom standing on the balcony looking out on his future kingdom. His beautiful blue eyes looked upon the a small house near a large standing cathedral.Sighing softly he put out his hand at the winding vines of the red roses. Taking one of the bloomed buds softly he pulled on it gently. He took it and put it to his nose. Taking in it's scent. Smiling softly he turned around and headed off the balcony. Opening his chamber doors he walked into the grand hall. The grand hall walls were covered with painting of King and Queens of the past. Next to each painting was a knights armor lifless in it's stance. He grined as he passed threw. Down the hall were many doors, but at the end etched in gold was a two door leading into the master ballroom. Placing his hand upon the handles he slowly opened the doors reavailing a large ballroom. The tiles were as white as snow and the pillars are intwined in gold. The second floor is as grand as the first. On the ceiling painted in all glory is beautiful angels sitting on white swans.
Illeandra sat in the lavish courtyard holding a brown leather bound book. She looked at the cover carefully.
"The Labyrinth",she mused softly. Turning the pages she looked over the pages.
