Stumped
Neji was utterly stumped. He was confused, bewildered, bamboozled and perplexed. Hell, he was flabbergasted. Give him jutsus- he understood them, give him history, he could understand that, too. Give him girls and he was… lost. The one particular girl who never failed to puzzle him: Tenten.
How on Earth could a girl so unfeminine be so… feminine? How could a girl who loved metal and throwing things, tease him like she did? How was it that she could look so damn mean in an ANBU uniform and then look so damn alluring in a dress? How could such a warm, consistent person love someone like him? He was the epitome cold and anti-social and she… she was perfect.
Neji, the genius- the prodigy, was stumped. Utterly stumped.
