It began to rain after school one day. It was a hard pouring rain, and the wind was blowing away the heaviest things.

Sakura Haruno, a girl in high school, walked down the streets, not caring about the weather. She would look up in the sky, then brush away some of her hair that stuck to her face, and keep on walking.

Most people were wearing rain jackets, rain boots, and jeans. This girl was wearing a spaghetti strapped shirt, and sports jacket with no hood, and a pair of jeans with tennis shoes.

A boy by the name of Sasuke Uchiha, looked at the poor girl. He sighed and walked over, putting his umbrella over her, and his, head.

The two were classmates, and Sakura had a crush on him. They weren't friends, and didn't talk a lot with each other, but if they looked into each other's eyes, something told them that they belonged together.

Sakura looked at him with shock, hoping a blush wouldn't appear on her face.

Sakura whispered a 'thanks' for the cold had struck her voice hard.

Sakura turned to him as he kept on walking with her.

'Sasuke…kun, although you may not love me back, I am glad to know you care…' Sakura thought as she continued in the rain with Sasuke.

'Sakura, be safe…' Sasuke thought as he put his rain jacket around her shoulders.

They walked to Sakura's house together, and she walked to the front door.

"Arigatou…" Sakura whispered, kissing him lightly on his cheek.

Sasuke bent forward and gently put his lips on hers.

"Sakura, be safe…" he whispered outloud, walking away.

Sakura leaned on her door frame, and smiled a small smile to herself.
