"Oh, come on Sonikuu!!!"
"No."
"Sonik-"
"No"
"Whyyy????"
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
"Come on Sonic. It wouldn't kill you to buy a smoothie, would it?"
"..."
Then, he saw Amy flash a look at Tails. Tails winked and smiled. She smiled back, and blushed slightly.
"I'll be back in a bit, okay?", and she hurried off into the nearest building.
And something in his brain twitched.
**Whack!!**
"Itai!" Tails rubbed the small lump on his head. "What'd you do that for?!"
"What? What'd I do?"
"Sonikuu!!!" Tails sighed. Sonic could be so frustrating sometimes. Then, he realized what had just occured, and grinned.
"Oi, Sonikuu. Were you offended?"
"Offended? By what?"
"I knew it!! You DO like her! You just don't wanna admit that you're jealous and pro-"
**THWACK THWACK!!!**
"Ite-ite-te-te-te-te..." He tenderly touched the now larger lump on his head, and winced.
"Nani o-"
"Reflex."
"..."
Just then, Amy returned. She sauntered over to the two, her arms behind her back. She kept her eyes focused on the street. Blushing all the while. Those are some lovely tire marks...
Tails rubbed his head, and Amy quickly glanced at him. While Sonic glared unconsciously at Tails. Tails blinked cutely.
"Huh...?" He looked over at Amy, and at Sonic. (Whom looked ready to pounce on the poor fox.) Then it hit him.
"Ah! Gomen Sonikuu! I've gotta go! Ja na!" He sped off, allowing Amy to have some alone time with Sonic, and allowing himself, to leave with all of his body parts in one piece.
"Teirusu! Matte-"
"Ano..."
He looked at Amy, whom was shyly holding out a small green pouch.
"I didn't get you a birthday present this year, so... umm, I'm sorry it's late."
Sonic picked the pouch out of her hands, and slowly undid the knot. Amy, whom looked like a cherry at this point, had her eyes closed tightly. Would he like it?
"..."
In the pouch, was a small bracelet. The bracelet was made up of small crystals and shells, and wasn't really all too impressive. But, what caught his attention, was the small charm dangling off of it. It was deep blue in color, and tear-shaped*.
"It's for...The next time you have to face Eggman..."
"...Thanks Amy."

*Note: The 'Charm', Is supposed to be a "Wishing Jewel". Which is a japanese emblem of Good Luck and Fortune. It's pretty
rare, and hard to come by. Not a romantic type thing, really.
Amy gives it to him for luck. And Sonic appreciates it. (Aww...)
