Part 2
As the steel door opened from Vault 156 to the Washington State Wasteland, Martynn decided that he needed to look for at least some civilization. So, he decided to climb up the mountain that the Vault was in, and scout out the area. So, after climbing for what seemed like only a few minutes, he managed to see that he was close to what looked like the capital of the Washington State Wasteland, Olympia.
And then he saw a sign pointing to what looked like a giant steel pile of rust. He ran as fast as he could to the sign. It said that he was near the Wasteland Dump. Martynn knew that he would find at least something in the Dump.
After looking for what seemed a few hours, he managed to find some Radroach meat, some tinder, and a Desert Eagle Pistol with no ammunition. From his constant training with his father, he remembered to take every weapon he could find. He also remembered to not take too much weapons, though, and store as much as there was.
Next, as he decided his choices, he should enter Olympia and see what he could find. As he entered Olympia, he saw that everything was decimated to an unnatural state. As he learned from his mother, who taught them at Vault 156, he remembered that one of the Nuclear Warheads from China was directed straight at the very center of Olympia.
"Please, somebody help me, I need food," Martynn heard behind him. He quickly turned around.
"Have you tried looking in the Dump," he tried to say, in as much a proper way as he could.
"Yes, I have, but I found nothing," he said sadly.
"You may have half of my Radroach meat, my friend," Martynn said very politely. "Thank you, good karma is with you!" the old man exclaimed with a glowing smile on his face.
Martynn decided to return to his scavenging. As soon as he did, he noticed a green box camouflaged in a bush. He ran straight toward it. Then, when he opened it, a glowing smile erupted on his face. He soon found that he had three grenades, a small round of ammunition for a Hunting Rifle, and a Hunting Rifle. Then, he saw someone ushering him inside to his house. Martynn quickly ran in.
"I know who you are," said the man.
