Fire Works
Buffy was so excited that today was Fourth of July. She wanted to ask Spike if he wanted to go with her to see the fireworks at nine-o clock. But she was interrupted of her happy thought when somebody started knocking on the door. Dawn barged through the door and said, "Are we going to set off fireworks tonight" "Well" Buffy said "Well what" Dawn said "Well I sort of planned to go with Spike at the festival tonight, I mean if he wanted to." "Oh ok" Dawn said "I mean if that's ok" Buffy said "Oh yes that is defiantly ok" Dawn started heading out the door. Buffy went to Spike's crypt at eight-o clock and he wasn't there. Buffy went to the festival alone, she sat down with all these thoughts flowing through her mind. One of her thoughts was that maybe he stopped loving her and left town or maybe he found someone else that he loves more than me. Those thoughts were making her really nervous. She started wishing he were here so she didn't have to worry about that. Buffy laid down and closed her eyes tuning out the people's voices and just listing to the peaceful fireworks. When she opened her eyes, she was looking up at Spike. He said, " Hi love " Spike" Buffy screamed quietly. " You looked peaceful" Spike protested " Actually I was terrified inside" she said. " About what" Spike said " That maybe you left because you didn't love me anymore" she said looking down at her hands. " That's crazy talk pet," he said " Well I went by your crypt and you weren't there, so where were you" she said. " I had to pick something up before I could see you" Spike said " Really" as she was sitting up. " Close your eyes" his eyes fixed on her eyes " Ok" she said. " Now open them" Spike said, she opened her eyes and she stared at the thing that was in Spike's hand. Buffy said, " Is that a ring" " Buffy" he said " Yes" Buffy said smiling " Will you marry me" Spike said " Oh Spike of course I'll marry you" Buffy said. Spike put the ring on her finger and kissed her. They sat peacefully watching the fireworks until Buffy whispered into Spike's ear and said, " I love you."
