A few months after the invasion, Graham goes back to become Rev. everything goes back to normal.
"So have you decided?"
"Yes. I'm going to join."
The two Hess brothers were quiet. Merrill was going to the Army. Morgan and Bo were standing there quietly. Tears came down Bo's eyes. Morgan stood there motionless. Merrill Bent down and picked up Bo.
"I'll always be here Bo. Always." He whispered. He turned and looked at Morgan. Morgan was frustrated and angry. "Morgan." Morgan turned and ran up to his room and slammed the door.
A few weeks later Merrill left and the house seemed silent. Morgan wouldn't talk. Bo wouldn't eat. Graham couldn't sleep. They haven't felt like this ever since the car accident. Graham thought about the life he and his family had. First losing his wife, and then the invasion, and now Merrill leaving. He heard the T.V on downstairs. It was Bo. Every since that day when the "aliens" had left, she checked the T.V, everyday to see if they had come back.
"Bo, we're safe. They're not coming back."
" I had dream." She said quietly in her soft little voice.
"Bo, dreams don't always come true. Now come on. Lets go to bed." As he said that he glanced at the television. What he saw was unbelievable.
