# "Ginny, wait!" Harry ran towards the petite redhead, one hand in his pocket. Ginny Weasley stopped walking and turned towards him expectedly. He looked around nervously before slowly dropping one knee to the grass. A couple Passerbys stopped what they were doing and watched.

"I know I've never been good with feelings, but getting to really know you has been the best thing that's ever happened to me. I think the best thing that ever could happen to me."

He shakily pulled a little, velvet box out of his pocket. He clicked it open revealing a small gold ring. Three rubies sparkled in the sun.

"I'm seventeen and out of school, now. They say I can make my own decisions, so I want this to be my first. I love you, be my wife?"

Tears welled up in Ginny's eyes and a quirky smile spread across her face.

"I'm sorry, Harry."

He stared at her with a mixture of shock and hurt on his face as she walked away towards the train and into the arms of a smirking blonde. A small silver ring almost slipped off her finger when they locked hands, it's emeralds glittering in the sun.

Author's Note: EeEeEeEeEe! I love it! I just started writing one night and this is what came out. It's what I call a double drabble, i.e. it has 200 words, not 100.

I think I told you guys I ride the DMGW boat occasionally. . .? I hope I didn't make anyone too mad, I mean Harry can't get Ginny every time, especially if he's waiting until he's seventeen. Besides, Draco needs a lady. You never know, maybe that's why he's mad all the time.

Please review and tell me what you thought!

Love,

Caty

P.S. Here's the disclaimer I forgot at the beginning: "I don't own anything that you recognize, including emeralds and rubies."
