The taunting face in which governs us all.
Giving us new heights, just to see how far we can fall.
The tears stream down your face, a hard glint in your eye.
No, "Happily Ever After" will ever come, no true love before your goodbyes.
But the witches and cheaters, thieves and sinners are real,
Not just to slay the princes or to see us all kneel.
They were once the heroes and damsels in distress,
Then what they love was taken and added to this mess.
There is no "Happily Ever After" for humanity, only despair,
Anger, Jealousy, Sadness.
We all need love, if only a little, if only you dare.
Reach out a hand, and give love to someone who needs it,
There may not be a "Happily Ever After", but we can be,
