Wind

As free as if you were born from air,

As loving as a gentle breeze.

Though at times you were not there,

You were forgiven with ease.

A leader through and through,

A kidder to the end.

In joy and mischief you grew

Our dearest, hated friend.

But everyone falls along the way.

Everyone stumbles upon the trail.

Just as long as always you stay,

As long as you love without fail,

A home and family await your return.

We all await your love.

We all put aside that old scorn.

We all learn to rise above.
