Summary – Instead of Naruto growing up alone in a village, Jiraiya decided that he will become the best godfather he could be for Naruto and help him grow up. Naruto will grow up having the love of a family and without everyone fearing him, although Jiraiya's perverted tendencies do pass on to Naruto and he becomes a pervert himself. Naruto x Harem

Author Note – I have made this story because I wanted it to be a little different, instead of Jiraiya abandoning Naruto, I have decided to try that with Tsunade, let it be a little different, plus, I like Jiraiya, who doesn't like their perverted family members.
Bashing –No. There will be no bashing of any characters, I do like people being put down a few pegs, but I don't like bashing to the highest extent, I believe it makes the story a little more... unoriginal and boring.

Chapter 1 - Prologue
A young boy, standing at a small height that can barely reach most adults waists, was happily running about in the sunlight with his giggles being heard, with the sound being so pure and so happy that it even brought others to smile who were nearby, his azure blue eyes shining with absolute innocence and happiness, with his hair absorbing and reflecting the sunlight with ease, making his hair stand out, with how bright it is.
The boy was wearing a simple white shirt with an orange swirl on the front of it and wearing some simple blue shorts that came down to his knees, with some open sandals on his feet to protect him from the gravel he was running on.
This young boy was...
"NARUTO!"
Naruto Uzumaki, the young child of the late Yondaime Hokage and the Akai Chishio no Habanero.
Although the shout of his name got his attention, he made no intention of stopping, he didn't need to, he would get caught eventually.
As he continued to run as fast as his short legs could carry him, he eventually found himself dangling upside down with his vision now upside down, he could see just what he had done before he ran.
Holding him upside down was a man who looked to be in his early 40's he was tall and well-built man in adulthood with fair skin. He had a wart on the left side of his nose and waist-length, spiky hair that went down to his lower body, but it was tied in a ponytail with two bangs framing his face. His attire consisted of a green short shirt kimono and matching pants, under which he wore mesh armour that is visible at his wrists and ankles. He also wore hand guards, a black belt, traditional Japanese wooden sandals, and a red haori with two yellow circles on each side. He has a tattoo on his left palm and wears a horned forehead protector with the kanji for "oil", which displayed his affiliation with Mount Myōboku.
This was Jiraiya, one of the legendary Sannin, the name being granted by Hanzo during the second Shinobi war, he normally had spiky white hair, but Naruto pranked him earlier that day and dyed it bright kill me green.
As soon as Naruto caught a glimpse of Jiraiya's hair, he burst into a fit of giggles again, with his eyes closed and his whisker like markings making his face look all that more mischievous.
"Laugh it up gaki. It will take me so long to get this out." Jiraiya muttered to himself as he used his free hand and touched his hair, which was still wet with the paint.
Jiraiya grumbled something under his breath and turned to Naruto, who know had his azure eyes open and looking at him like someone kicked his puppy.
"Jeez gaki, that look will make me have a heart attack someday. Deadly for a six-year-old." Jiraiya muttered to himself as he flipped Naruto over and placed him on his shoulder as they walked back to where they were, with Naruto missing the looks he was getting from the females around, who looked like they saw something adorable, but their gaze landed on Jiraiya and their eyes instantly hardened with hatred. They knew of his book series and they hoped he wouldn't corrupt the poor boy.

As Jiraiya carried the now sleeping Naruto back to where they were staying, which was somewhere near Kiri, Jiraiya carried the sleeping form of Naruto to another room, which was just large enough for Naruto.
Jiraiya had bought this house some time ago, and miraculously still standing, even after the test of time it has faced.
Naruto's room is what you expect of a six year old, it had some posters of some ninja that Naruto liked, one of them even included Jiraiya himself. It was small enough to comfortably fit him and some belongings, such as his single bed with some burnt orange sheets and white pillow that was slightly dirty, the windows were half covered by a simple green curtain and prevented the afternoon sun from entering the room and disturbing Naruto.
As Jiraiya carefully set down Naruto and tucked him in under his sheets, Jiraiya ruffled his hair a bit and let a small smile grace his face.
As Jiraiya gave one last look over his shoulder, Jiraiya exited his bedroom, in order for himself to clean up his atrocious hair colour and return in back to its original colour.
TIMESKIP
As Jiraiya exited from the shower, his hair back to what it should be, being a nice white colour which was his natual hair colour, he eventually made his way to the small loungeroom where it can easily fit three people comfortably.
Jiraiya pulled out a blank booklet and brought out a brush from somewhere within his new set of clothes, which looked exactly like the ones he wore previously, but didn't have drops of bright green on them.
As he was about to put the brush to the paper, he looked up and saw a picture of a younger him, Tsunade and Orochimaru outside the window and on one of the stores buildings. He winced a bit as he remembered what happened between himself and Tsunade that night six years ago.
FLASHBACK
It was a chaotic night for the village of Konohagakure, it was the night of October 10th where everyone was just minding their own business, some were even sleeping or having dinner with their family, then something terrible happened.
Konohagakure was suddenly shaken when a massive pressure was forced down on everyone in the village, some of the civilians with no ninja training at all instantly combusted from the inside from the pressure that crushed their insides, as the shinobi and kunoichi came out, dressed in their battle gear, they were met with a sight that would become their nightmare for years to come, and some, this would be their last sight in their lives.
A massive fox, that was reddish-orange in colour, that was the size of the Hokage monument with nine massive tails lashing about, causing minor earth tremors and massive craters to be formed from the power of the swing.
It looked around frantically and eventually made its way closer to the village.
That was when every ninja leaped into action, disregarding the fact that they might not make it, they were doing this to protect their family, their friends, comrades, and more importantly; their village in which they serve with their life.
However, as the minutes turned into an hour, many casualties were made, most people died from the sheer power coming from the Kyuubi, most people were unlucky and were killed by its ferocious attacks, some were crushed when they were stomped on or crushed by one of the nine massive tails.
However, the people's savior came in on a massive toad with a sword and a jacket, many people were thankful that the Yondaime Hokage finally came in to save them from the beast, as the two beasts fought each other, the toad was hit by a powerful hit, but it was also exchanged, both of them suffering from heavy blows.
However, it didn't end there. The Yondaime Hokage used a forbidden jutsu to summon the death god itself, the Shinigami. Asking to seal half the Kyuubi into himself and one into a newborn baby, who was born on the exact same day, which happened to be his son, Naruto.
Having to pay the price of having his own soul as payment for the sealing, with a heavy heart, the Yondaime Hokage sealed half of the beast in him, and the other half within his son. However, before that could even happen, the Kyuubi must have realised and went to swipe at the baby, hoping to break the jutsu by cancelling half of the price, in the end, the Kyuubi's claw pierced through the Yondaime Hokage and his wife, in a last-ditch attempt to stop the Kyuubi's claws.
Because of how much stress the wife was put through, giving birth just over an hour ago and having a claw pierce through her abdomen, she died, but not after giving her final words to her son, with the Yondaime soon following.
With enough time passed, the Shinigami finally finished the ritual and separated the Kyuubi in two and put half in the Yondaime, and the other half in Naruto, who was crying on an alter with a complicated seal on it.
Shorty after all that happened, the former Sandaime Hokage, and his students, two of the legendary Sannin, appeared in the clearing and saw the gruesome sight of Kushina Uzumaki, The Yondaime Hokgae and the baby boy who now bears a burden most couldn't handle.
Putting their heads down in a moment of silence to respect them and respect their sacrifice they did to their son.

The Sandaime Hokage watched in bafflement as he watched the students he once taught as mere genin all those years ago, fight over one single baby.
It was surprisingly Jiraiya who asked who was going to take care of the baby, even though he had a spy network and was generally busy 'researching' which generally meant peeking at women at the hot springs.
"Tsunade! Please! Help me raise the kid." Jiraiya shouted out emotionally, not only because he had just lost a student and now all that was left of his legacy, Tsunade was acting like a total bitch about this.
"For the last time Jiraiya! I. Will. Not. Look. After. That. Kid." Tsunade said before she stormed off, probably going somewhere she could drink.
"So... you are leaving... figures Tsunade." Jiraiya muttered out, but it was still clear as day and was easily heard.
Tsunade stopped and menacingly turned her head towards Jiraiya.
"What. Was. That!?" She asked menacingly as she took powerful strides towards Jiraiya who didn't even look at her.
"You know what I said. Go drink away your sorrows, while I actually do something worthy of my title 'godfather', some godmother you are being right now." Jiraiya said, looking towards Tsunade through the light rain with his arms crossed over his chest and his eyes narrowed dangerously towards her.
"I didn't even want that title. It was Kushina that wanted it. While I loved Kushina because we were in the same clan, I absolutely hated Minato!" Tsuande shouted out in rage as she was close to losing it. "That baby." Tsuande said and gestured towards the blonde baby in the Sandaime Hokage's arms. "Looks so much like him. So, NO... I will not look after someone who looks like him!" Tsunade finished her rant with her breathing heavily, she then turned on her heel and walked away from the area, not caring about Hiruzen's or Jiraiya's looks of disbelief and anger respectively.
Jiraiya had enough and decided to shout one more thing at her.
"Run away Tsunade! Run just like you always do! Next time you find yourself in trouble, don't come running to me for help!" Jiraiya said in genuine anger as he cupped his hands around his mouth to make it more hearable.
Tsunade stopped for a second and hesitated for a split second, before shaking her head and walking off again.
Jiraiya looked down to the ground in anguish as he finally shed some tears after watching his second teammate leave, just like he did with Orochimaru.
He was then comforted by his sensei.
"It's alright Jiraiya, she will come to her senses. I'm sure." Hiruzen said, trying to cheer up his student that looked absolutely heart broken.
"I hope so. Knowing her, she probably won't she is known to keep grudges." Jiraiya said, before finally looking up and looking at the little baby in Hiruzen's arms.
"So... this is the little fella." Jiraiya murmured out as he gently ran his calloused hand over the small mop of blonde hair.
"Yes." Hiruzen said as he watched as the baby opened his eyes, revealing innocent azure eyes to the world and looking at Jiraiya with great curiosity.
Jiraiya seeing this smiled at the boy and gently took him from his sensei's arms and cradled the baby himself.
The baby giggled when it saw the face of Jiraiya, reaching up with his small stubby arms, he made a weak grabbing motion with them, which Jiraiya gave him his index finger, sensei and student watched with a smile as baby Naruto grabbed on to his index finger and started sucking on it.
"It seems he has taken a liking to you already." Hiruzen said happily as he watched the moment between them. Jiraiya didn't say anything, except nodding his head at the statement.
"Now, Jiraiya, I do understand that you have a spy network to run, just be careful and keep Naruto safe, you both are welcomed back into Konohagakure at any time." Hiruzen said to his student as he watched Jiraiya carefully put the baby in a comfortable position.
"Hai." Jiraiya said as he prepared to walk away in the opposite direction as Tsunade did a while ago.
Jiraiya looked towards the man he called his sensei and with a serious face and a serious tone he said to his sensei.
"Tell the villagers about what happened. It is up to you if you want to reveal the little guy's heritage, just remember, I have myself and my spy network to look after him and train him but reassure the villagers if you do tell them about him being the Jinchuriki for half the Kyuubi." Jiraiya said before he got off and started walking somewhere.
"Will do Jiraiya. Good luck." Hiruzen said before he walked away from the scene, wondering how he was going to address the village about this incident.
END FLASHBACK
Jiraiya sighed as he remembered that day all those years ago, they were both to blame, they were both heavily upset about losing people so close to them, for Jiraiya it was the pain of losing his student, for Tsunade it was the pain of losing someone connected to her family on her grandmothers' side.
Still, Jiraiya still hadn't gotten a single message or even a little hello from the slugs, which kind of upset him, but she would come around at one point.
Jiraiya readied his brush and little pad as he prepared to write another one of his books, with him peeking at the hot springs whilst Naruto was asleep.
Thinking about Naruto made Jiraiya smile a little bit, somehow Naruto knew that he wasn't his father, but instead called him jiji or even ero-jiji, something he picked up from the females around the places they were at, something that made him upset yet oddly proud at the same time.
When Jiraiya first took Naruto, he knew nothing about being a parent since he never had a kid himself, but he let his instincts take over and he eventually got the hang of it, something that he was proud of, but something that he wasn't proud of was that Naruto never was able to make friends, mainly because that they were constantly moving to keep away from dangerous people who were hunting them, and now a very suspicious group has started called the Akatsuki, where there was only one member known, and that was someone by the name of Pein.
Jiraiya shook his head to get those thoughts away and continued to work on his new masterpiece to all the perverts out in the Elemental Nations.

Hello guys, I hope you enjoyed that chapter, just a reminder this is a Harem book, like my other books, except this time I have no idea who I am going to add yet, but one thing is for certain; I am going to have fun with this book.
