Karen's POV
Rick…
My heart aches whenever his name echoes in my head.
I am so stupid to only realise my strong feelings for him after he's gone.
I couldn't help but to think of those times when he was here with me.
He was always there for me.
Stupid me for taking his feelings for granted all this time.
He's gone, Karen. GONE. He's with Jill now.
I felt tears coming down my face. I just buried my face in my hands and cried silently.
Claire's POV
"We'd appreciate it if you can help us look for Karen, Claire," Sasha said in a worried tone, her voice shaking.
I nodded and reached her hand to stop her from trembling.
"Definitely, Sasha. I'll help you find Karen in no time," I said while faking a smile so Sasha couldn't see how I too was worried sick.
I walked out of the Supermarket while reaching out my pocket to find my phone. I decided that I would try to give Karen a ring for the 27th today, just in case she finally decided to pick up the phone.
"Come on, Karen! Pick up!" I muttered under my breath.
Unfortunately, I could only get through her voicemail.
Oh dear Goddess, please let Karen be safe wherever she is. And please knock some sense into her head so she can see that everyone's worried!
