Leila walks around in the hallways of the Dragon Gate, she stays hidden in the shadows making sure no one is around her. She hears distant whisperings and quietly walks off in the direction. After she hears everything she gasp and says to herself, "I've gotta get to Lord Hector… perhaps I can reach him in time to-- What!" She quickly whips around and sees Ephidel he grins as his golden eyes shine under his hood he says, "Leila… where are you going?…" Leila stutters slightly, "L-lord Ephidel… the sentries, I'm going to go check on them…" Ephidel smirks, "And I had such hopes for you… Jaffar!" A man with red eyes and hair appears behind Leila, his gray cloak covering up his hands that had daggers in them. "The punishment for traitors is death" Jaffar says coldly. He lunges for Leila with his daggers out, she dodges swiftly and pulls out her own daggers. He charges again, catching her off guard and getting her in the back, "Ah!" She falls to the ground looking up at Jaffar, she gets up weakly and waits for the final attack. Jaffar appears in front of her and looks at her. He stops as he sees her eyes, full of fear and sadness, "What's wrong with me… I can't kill her…" Jaffar thinks. He comes up close to Leila and brings his daggers to her throat, "…" he looks at her, he cuts the side of her shirt, Leila looks at him; she falls to the floor and says gasping, "Ah…. S-sorry…. I failed…" She closes her eyes and Ephidel smirks and says, "Excellent Jaffar. Your skills have grown. Now, take this filthy red-haired corpse and leave it in the woods. Let it serve as a warning for those fools." Jaffar felt himself twitch when Ephidel called the girl "filthy". He nods and picks her up, "She's so light" Jaffar thinks as he walks out into the woods.

Jaffar continues walking, he looks at her and thinks "She's looks so… pretty… Wait, what did I justsay? Am I… feeling emotion?…" He keeps looking at her until he sees her eyes open, he looks up and then sets her down, she brushes off her clothes and looks at him, "Thanks…" she says quietly. He nods and sees that she still has the wound on her back, he pulls out a bottle and holds it out, "Use it… to heal your wounds…" Leila looks at him confused but takes it and uses it, "Who are you? And why… did you spar my life?" He turns away and says, "My name is not important… many refer to me as the 'Angel of Death' and… I sparred you because…" Leila looks at him "…Because?…" Jaffar turns to her, his eyes showing something Leila thought look like fear, he says , "That isn't important.. You must leave, now… or else they'll find out and try to kill you…" Leila nods and says before walking off, "Thank you for letting me live… Angel of Death…" She smiles and runs off.
