A/N: Hey everyone ^-^! So… I got bored and Valentine's Day is coming up so I decided to write this fluffy little one-shot. I hope you enjoy it ^-^!
Moonlight Kisses
"Adrik, where are you taking me?"
I felt his breath on the back of my neck as he chuckled softly and guided me forward.
"You'll see when we get there, princess."
I sighed in annoyance. That was just like him; keeping the mystery unveiled until the very end. Well, it had to be expected; him being a Sheikah and all. Still, did he have to use a blindfold? He knew I hated being unaware of my surroundings. Even so, I trusted him. There wasn't anyone else I trusted as much as him. I knew he would never voluntarily hurt me. I knew he would do anything for me; that he loved me more than anything. And I too love him. He was the perfect boyfriend, and he was mine and mine only.
"We're almost there, princess. Just a few more minutes."
I sighed again. Where the hell was he taking me? I could hear the soft gurgle of water, but that wasn't much of a clue. There are plenty of water sources across Hyrule. We hadn't been walking for long, so it couldn't be that far from the village, but why would he take me to a water source so close to our home? Unless he used his magic to bring us elsewhere… It was a quite plausible possibility.
"We're here."
Excitement built up in me as Adrik slowly removed the blindfold, revealing my surroundings. I gasped in amazement. Before was the clearest pool of water I've ever seen, surrounded by clear cyan crystals sparkling in the moonlight, all under the most beautiful night sky I've ever seen.
"It's beautiful…"
Adrik circled my waist with his arms, leaning my back on his chest.
"Not as beautiful as you."
I smiled and turned around to face him, my hands resting on his toned chest. He gently lifted my chin and pressed his lips to mine in a soft, tender kiss.
"Happy Valentine's Day, princess." He whispered against my lips.
I abruptly looked up at him in surprise.
"Wait, it's Valentine's Day?"
I was so busy lately that the holiday had completely slipped my mind. Adrik chuckled and pulled me closer.
"You're so forgetful, princess. I love you."
"I love you too." I replied with a smile as I closed the gap between us with a passionate kiss.
