Remus' Second Desire
I'm writing this additional chapter, because some people have asked me what was the second Desire Remus had, and know I'm telling you the truth.
The second Desire is something I didn't want to write at first, because I imagined it was not Remus' Desire, but the wolf's one, inside of Remus.
And now, here you have what kind of wish the abominable beast has.
When he approached me, I first saw that young and humorous kid from years before, but if I watched carefully, behind those kind eyes, hide a beast. An abominable beast, who what most desired was blood and murder.
The first living human creature that a wolf sees is the one he wants more to murder and destroy. That, or convert her/him into his own kind. The first human creature that this beast had seen was Lily Evans. The beautiful, red-headed girl, which was no less, the girlfriend of one of Remus' best friends.
The wolf saw her in so many ways that it confused me, but two images were prominent in the picture. One saw Lily dead, and the wolf on top on her covered with blood. The other showed two wolfs, one red, the other brown, they were so close together you couldn't distinguish which each was.
The images disturbed my humble memory as I was only seeing her dead, or worse, turned into a beast.
But then, I thought of him, the beast itself. I thought the loneliness he must have felt all those years before, the feeling of revenge he felt every time he crossed his creator. I understood him completely. I felt lonely almost all the time. I felt lonely no matter the many images and wished I kept inside of me. I felt alone. And this beast must feel the same way. Every day of his life. He feels alone.
I saw the man Remus was today fight against this wishes, this desire he felt so vividly and ardently. He fought until he won the beast. He could control it. But he yet felt alone. Alone as the beast itself. Alone inside a body he didn't feel comfortable in anymore. Alone.
