Prolouge
She knew. She finally understood what scared her about him. It wasn't that he was actually smarter then her. She could readily admit that, after seeing him dominate the tests faster then anyone, and for even being able to reprogram the turrents to not shoot him. It wasn't his strength either, but for such a small body, he easily lifted objects far heavier then a child his size should have been able too. He even carried that dangerous mute girl on his back for their co-op testing. No, the reason that she was scared of the boy was so simple. She was scared because she hadn't predicted this would happen. All her calculations, all her data, proved useless to her when he broke off the path and landed in the lower levels, fighting his way to her with the mute girl. She never saw it coming. She was about to incenerate the dangerous girl, when he had appeared out of nowhere, and rescued her. Nothing she knew about the boy could have predicited his actions. And now, he was on his way here. And she didn't know what he would do. And worse, she feared she couldn't stop him. So she began preparing a surprise. Soon enough, he walked into the room, with the girl following close behind. "well, looks like you found me" she said to him, hiding her worries. "yet despite your violent actions, the only thing you managed to do, was break my heart. I suppose you could settle for that, but we both know you won't do that." he stepped forward, smiling. "of course not. I'm here for a reason, and that's stopping you from hurting her ever again." The mute girl slightly shifted, her face registering gratitude. GlaDoS sighed before speaking. "I don't understand why a human like you would care so much for that dangerous mute monster. We were getting along fine, so when did everything go wrong?" the scene fades out as the flashback starts, with the boy saying only one thing. "everything changed, when i stopped pretending I was human."
me: "well, i never was one to make long prolouges. but i'd say this one will cut it for now"
zeph: "soo, why are you going public with this one, and not of the ones you already have chapters of?"
me: "cause those are original stories that dont fall into the catergories here, i think. either way, you can blame that birdbrain outsidelookingup for getting me hooked."
zeph: "uh huh. and what about chell?"
chell:"...?" confusion spreads across her face.
me: "dont worry, she will play a major role, and i plan on giving her a voice."
chell: "!"chell hugs zeph and konoha
zeph: "well, thats ok i guess. i kinda hate the whole dangerous mute line"
me: "no, you just cant stand people picking on mute or otherwise handicapped people. anyway, before zeph retorts back, i'm gonna say this. i dont expect all that much good critism but i sure as hell dont wanna see pure negative critique. after all, i write these without beta's, as you people call them. anyway, look forward to chapter on probably tommorow or friday
