Author's Note: Hi! I figured it would be easier for my first upload to be a oneshot so here it is.
There Galinda sat, next to her roommate in the library. Which according to her (and everyone else except Elphaba) was the most borifying place in all of Shiz University. Elphaba had told her it would be a good idea to study for the big history test coming up in just a week. It had been a slow week, no parties, no new gossip from Pfanee or ShenShen, so Galinda had reluctantly agreed. Little did she know this was a bad move.
After what Galinda thought was forever (in reality it had only been five minutes) she put down her book, slumped down in her chair and turned to her roommate.
"Elphie" Galinda whispered.
Elphaba was still focused on what she was reading.
"Elphie" Galinda slightly raised her voice to make sure Elphaba heard her. The emerald green girl stopped for a second then continued to read.
"Elphaba." Galinda grabbed the nearest pencil and poked Elphaba with it.
"Ow! What Galinda?"
"Elphie, I'm bored." She whined.
"Are you serious!?" The librarian shushed them. Fiyero, who had just walked in, came to sit at the girls' table.
"Is there a problem here ladies?"
"Yes. I'm booooored." Elphaba groaned.
"Now there is. Fiyero, why are you here?"
Fiyero placed a hand over his heart, pretending to be hurt. "Can't a man come to the library to read?" Elphaba scoffed.
"What? You think I'm really stupid don't you?"
"No. Not really stupid."
"Um, hello? Still bored here." Galinda stood up.
"Excuse me, Miss Elphaba, Miss Galinda, Master Fiyero?" The librarian had made her way over to their table. They hadn't realized that their whispering had become louder.
""This is a library. As you may recall, students come to study in the library so they may have some peace and quiet." She looked at the books and notes Elphaba had spread out on her section of the table.
"Now you three can either continue to study quietly, or I will have to ask you all to leave."
"We're very sorry ma'am. I'm sure we can manage to study quietly." Elphaba said.
"Oh, Miss Elphaba, I'm certain you can." With that, she looked at Fiyero and Galinda and walked back to her desk.
"'Miss Elphaba' over here was the one making all the noise." Fiyero grumbled as he took out his books and sat down.
"Oh, shut up Fiyero. At least you're not bored." Elphaba chuckled. Fiyero grinned at her remark. Galinda didn't find it amusing at all.
So, this has been my first upload! :) This was just a short thing I wrote in math class once when I was bored (I changed the setting here, they were originally in class when I first wrote this).
