Summary: A pregnant Kagome and Inuyasha enjoy some major fluff while they enjoy a little action in the bedroom. Don't think it's enough to be an M but tell me if you think it is.

It was night; the hut was dark and quite and his side of the bed was still warm. She rolled onto her back, hands placed gently on top of her rounded pregnant belly. It was nights like this that Kagome felt most alone, when the only sound to reach her ears was the incessant chirping of the crickets outside. She breathed a heavy sigh and closed her eyes hoping to return back to dreamland, but her unborn child had other plans that concerned kicking every major organ possible. Slowly Kagome ran her hand up and down her swollen belly, calming the child. Not long after a second set of hands joined her own; she paused and looked up seeing the person she most longed to be near.
"You're still up," his gruff voice sounded.
"Hmmmm…our little one seems to be nocturnal just like its daddy,"
"Keh! Twerp needs to settle down so you can get some rest!" Inuyasha protested though his eyes were filled with love. He gripped her waist tighter bringing her closer to him, nuzzling her neck when she obeyed. Inuyasha breathed in her soft scent, jasmine and dew with a caress of innocence from their unborn child.
"Why did you leave?"
"Nothin' just forget it," came his usual dispassionate reply. Kagome's face twisted in pain. Inuyasha may not admit but he was sensitive at heart and the recent death of Kikyo had him depressed. Though she was his loving wife she knew there was a place in his heart she could never fill.
"You went to her grave again."
"Keh! Quit actin' like that!" Inuyasha made a move to get away but Kagome only turned around to face him.
"Its okay, Inuyasha, I understand. She was important to you. For everyone else she's been dead for over fifty years but for you it was just like it was yesterday. From the stories I've heard she sounds like she was amazing, and I wouldn't be mad if you missed her from time to time."
"Kagome, its okay; you don't-"
"No," Kagome interrupted, "Inuyasha you need this. You need her. Gods Inuyasha you provide Baby and me with so much, if she is what you want then I can live with that! I love you Inuyasha. I trust you." His frame shook with suppressed sobs.
"How are you mine?" Inuyasha confessed in his rare moment of weakness. Kagome had no answer to his question but to wrap her arms around his neck and pull him down to her lips. Her fingers wrapped around his long hair pulling with intensity of their passion causing Inuyasha to moan in pleasure. Taking her opportunity; Kagome slid her tongue into his mouth coaxing his own appendage to join her own. His hands slid around her form caressing her back only to come back again to rub and kiss his way down her belly. Slowly Inuyasha laid her on their futon, the same one they conceived their first child. The night turned into morning though neither of them noticed or cared, they made love over and over again until exhaustion came. Resting in their love's arms was all that mattered for now, the future could be dealt with later.
