"You know," Hermione said, "I use to always walk down the beach with my mum and dad." She said sadly, Ron looked at her, "When this war is over I'm to go to Australia and help you find them." he said, Hermione sighed and sat down on the wet sand and looked out at the sunrise, Ron quickly copied,
"How can you be so sure we'll make it out of this war alright? You-Know-Who's a lot stronger.." She looked down so he couldnt see her tears, "I dont know for sure. But I do know one thing," he used his hand to lift her chin, "That as long as you're with me I wont let anyone, anyone touch you."
Hermione leaned into his arms and sobbed, slow, gut wrenching sobs, and Ron just sat there silently holding her, Ron wished he knew what to say to make it better but he knew he couldnt, there were no words, she pulled away and looked at him, "What about you?" She let out in a hoarse whisper, Ron looked at her puzzled, "What do you mean?" she sighed and brushed a stray red bang from Rons face, his forehead tingling where she touched him, "I cant lose you," she looked away, cheeks turning slightly pink, "promise me you'll be okay." he winced, how could he possibly promise that?
"I promise I will try to make it out," He let out a troubled breath, "but, in case I dont..." he trailed, she looked at him fire in those brown eyes that Ron had grown so fond of, "Dont you say that Ronald Weasley! You will be fine! Because I dont think I could make it with out you. Because I lov-" she finished, blushing, "What was that?", Ron asked, she sighed, now was as good time as any, "I love you you blubbering fool!" She glared at him, he looked at her in shock, "Wha-what?" He gasped, her face now a very bright red, "Forget it! Forget I said anything!" and stood up storming away, "Wait!" Ron called out, running to catch up with her, "I love you too." and with that he kissed her.
