The Kiss
"What is the meaning of this?" Kagome looked up, startled, and met the angry eyes of the very taiyoukai who was her mate-to-be.
"Sesshomaru," she began, looking for a way out of the room. "This isn't what it seems…"
"Why, would you do this to me?" Kagome's heart clutched at the heartbroken way he said it.
"It was only a kiss, Sesshomaru; there was nothing wrong with what I did. I don't know why you are being so unreasonable. It's not like I'm cheating." Kagome got up from the bed, getting her robe from the chair nearby.
"You call that a kiss, Kagome? He was doing more than that. He was on top of you-"
"He is a DOG!!!! A DOG!!! Sesshomaru, really, why do we have to go over this every time you get home? He jumped on top of me and then started licking my face. I swear you are such a child. Getting jealous of a dog. It's what dogs do. Dogs lick!! " Kagome interrupted, frustrated.
Gathering her into his arms, and lifting her face up so that he could kiss her, he said, "You should know."
