A/N:
For those of you who don't know, as of 5/15/2011 Wonderland is no longer on Broadway due to negative reviews from critics (let the record show that I personally don't agree with what they said about it, I thought it was amazing!)
It took me a few days to write this, seeing as I started to prepare it that night but I think it turned out pretty good. So, now that the final curtain is drawn on Wonderland, I decided to write this small little one-shot in honor of the entire Wonderland Cast, especially Darren Ritchie and Janet Dacal…congrats on your engagement!
"Thank you all." Alice said. "That's it for this afternoon, see you Wednesday."
She watched with a smile as her class slowly dispersed with many waves and "see you later's!" out of the dojo. Once they were gone however, she sighed and grabbed her water bottle, taking a long drink and looked up at the clock. Only six months ago at this time she would have been giving a private lesson. To Jack. It was almost hard to believe he was gone, well not in her world anyway. He had seemed so suave, the perfect gentleman…and different from all the guys she had ever dated. Boy was she wrong!
It wasn't like Alice was upset though, in fact until just now Jack hadn't crossed her mind. Not even once. Too much had happened since then, and it mainly had to do with Hatter. Hatter. Alice smiled to herself as she headed over to the door that read Staff Only, so she could change.
If she had any thoughts about Jack now, it would have to be how lucky she was to have been stupid enough to follow him through the Looking Glass. After all, there would be no Hatter in her life now. No waking up to the smell of warm tea and spicy cinnamon, mixed with the smell of fabric softener every morning as she buried her head in the sheets. No syrupy brown hair all crazy in the morning, when she would finally lift her head. No soft brown eyes gazing at her adoringly and full of lust as she finally pulled herself out of bed. No sweet sexy voice telling her how incredible she looked in the morning followed by a giggle, as she would throw a pillow at him. No soft lips gently caressing her neck and lips, softly at first then growing more and more aggressive as time went on until they consumed each other, then whispering sweet nothings into her ear as his strong hands would caress her cheek. All this before breakfast, followed by repeats of the same things throughout the day.
But it wasn't all crumpets and tea—as Hatter liked to say. It had been tough for them at first, for Alice still had many issues to deal with, both physically and emotionally. She had to explain to her mother, and everyone else who they ran into what had "happened" to Jack and who this strange new David Hatter was.
There had also been plenty of emotional baggage for Alice. Her father had left her with an unimaginable ache in her heart, and doubts. However, her time in Wonderland was allowing them to heal. The wounds that her father had left her were patching themselves for a brand new life with Hatter. Nevertheless, it had taken time. Hatter took all her unintended insults and suspicions in stride and stood by her side holding her hand. Together, they rode the waves until all seemed calm.
Yet, she was surprised, as she walked back into the main room changed, ready to head home to find Hatter standing there, smiling at her.
"What are you doing here?"
"I got out of work early." Hatter said, flashing his dimples at her, "Thought I'd walk you home."
He leaned forward and kissed her, long and slow. It was sweet, it was slow. It was perfect. He was still here, and somehow Alice knew…he was staying.

Short I know, but I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless!
