"C'mon Cas, do it."
"Why?"
"Because it'll be funny."
"Dean, no."
"Please?"
Cas sighed, looking down at the object in his hand. He didn't understand why inhaling helium out of a balloon would be humorous, or pleasant. He looked back into the hunters brilliant green eyes. He sighed again, melting a little under Dean's gaze. "Alright, I'll do it."
Cas brought the opening of the balloon to his lips, the taste of latex filling his mouth. He slowly relaxed the grip his fingers had around the opening, and helium started leaking out of the balloon and into his mouth. Once the balloon was deflated, he removed it from his mouth and looked at Dean. Dean had a childish grin on his face, eyes glittering. "What are you waiting for? Say something!"
Instead of the usually gruffness, a very squeaky, "Hello Dean" came out of Cas's mouth. Dean blinked, then started to chuckle, which soon became full-blown laughter. Cas grinned, he still didn't find it funny, but he was nevertheless pleased because he loved to hear Dean's laugh. His grin became wider when he saw Dean fall out of his chair from the force of his laughing. "Dean, do you require assistance?" This didn't help much, only succeeded in making Dean laugh even harder. Cas thought for a moment, filled with happiness, and he had no more control over the next words that escaped his lips.
" I Love you, Dean Winchester."
Deans laughter stopped abruptly, and he looked up at Cas, and saw the red flush that graced (A/N: hehehe, graced. Okay sorry, moving on) the angel's face. " W-What?"
"I love you"
Cas now felt terrible. It was a very bad thing to confess his secret feelings. it was just so simple to say it, with the love of his life being there, happy, which was all that Cas ever wanted for Dean. Now he may have ruined their relationship, or, so to say, made things "awkward". His thoughts were interrupted though, by a pair of soft, yet slightly chapped lips crashing into his. Dean was kissing him. Cas closed his eyes, deepening the kiss. He held on to the front of Dean's jacket, bringing them closer together. After a few moments, they pulled apart, cheeks pink and eyes locked together, blue and green, like the heavens touching the earth. Dean grinned, and pulled out a balloon from behind him, sucking the helium out. " I love you too, Cas." came the high-pitched words. Cas smiled widely and kissed Dean again.
Unknown to them, Sam was holding a video recorder, while Kevin was texting everyone they knew. They fist bumped, rejoicing (Sam especially) in the fact that all the sexual tension was over, and that those two assholes finally got together.
