Life on the Farm
It was a beautiful spring day when Milo and Otis had gathered their young to gather and meet. After all, they were like family. "Alright children," Otis barked. "I know that everyone is excited. But we need to gather to together and get ready to head back to the farm." "Uncle Otis, I want to play now, "Milo Junior whined. Otis laughed at the little kitten who reminded him so much of his father. "We have plenty of time to do that back on the farm," Milo added in. "I'll be glad to get back after being thrusted away from home." "Yeah, but you wouldn't have met me," Joyce pleaded. Milo gulped and thought long and hard about what she said. "Yeah but…" "Yeah yeah, we know you got carried away by box in
River," Chester mewed. "You told us the story one thousand times. "
"Hush," Otis said. "May I have your attention please? We are all gathered together to head back home
Where Milo and I were born. It has nearly been a year since we have been away and I am sure they are worried sick. Milo's mother is very close to him," Otis said. "Ooh, "Milo meowed. "Do you have to rub that part into this?" "Yeah, I can't wait to meet nana Callie," Lewis said as he smiled at his father. "Me too," Marble stated looking at her mother and father." 'Cats,' thought Suzette as walked on.
Otis laughed when he recognized that familiar scent which was and only could be, home.
"We're almost there," he said as the group marched onto the familiar trail that Milo and Otis only knew too well. It was then that Milo and Otis knew they could meow and bark at their arrival home as others knew their sounds. Meanwhile, Sandra and Joyce summon ed the children to be quiet as the boys began their sound of communication to the farm.
"Milo? Otis?" Asked a familiar voice. "Fred?" asked Otis as he looked up and realized that it was the chicken whom Milo and Otis hatched. "Where have you two been?" "On and adventure!" they both said……
