Glitchedthat word has haunted me for my whole life. In my World, everything was based on how many marks on your skin and which color when born. It determines your future Job, Your future spouse, Your problems, your pros and cons, even as small as your favorite color. Me? Well, I got no marks at all. Almost like I was a human, it was insane. Now, we're not a multi-color aliens, we look like everyday human but, the difference really is the marks. I didn't go in to a factory for them to experiment on me but, people just look at me weird but, then again 1 out 1 million people on this planet have this. Guess what! My friends are those people! Wow how random! Honestly, we live our lives like normal people but, people struggle to ask us "What do you want to be when you grow up". It's like a game between me and my friends.
"ALL UNMARKED STUDENTS PLEASE HEAD TO THE PRINCPLES OFFICE" The PA system blared. Well, this has GOT to be good. I meet up with my friends and walk with them. I can't believe I have four of them. Well, the one to my direct left is Anna-Beth, blonde hair and soft blue eyes. It's amazing if she was marked she could snag any guy on this stupid planet. The one on my direct right is Bo, yes like Bo Burnham. In fact he looks almost exactly like him. My far right is Julie, she was the Actor of the group. She loved everything about theater and movies. My far left is Jackson or Jake Nobody knows why he choose Jake instead of Jack) He was everyone's crush. Well, not literally because he unmarked but, if he was everyone with common sense would be in love with him. His Brown Ricky Dillion (We still get things like signals from earth) Hair and his choclate Brown eyes. WHAT?! No, I don't have a crush on him That's crazy!
"Jamie? Are you okay?" Jake said. Of course I was sweating, only my luck. He slid over to me and touched my forehead. My face turned into a bright shade of red
"I-I'm fine. Let's j-just go." . We finally got to the principal's office and went in. We sat in the chairs and looked at him.
"As you know, you are unmarked. So the school board and your parents have decided to send you to an academy." All of us looked at each other with a surprised look
"This is a school for people who do not chose the path of their marks but, in your case people who don't have them at all" He continued.
"Do you realize that we could chose a job? Or heck be put in a random class, exactly what having a mark is" Julie said, in addition to being a good actor is being a drama queen.
"I'm deeply sorry, but, everything is signed please go home to collect your items the bus will be at the bus on 108 Doomè Road" He said. I looked into his eyes and saw a glint of happiness.
"Okay, guys initiate plan GODDYBYE" I said. We got and went into the halls. We stood in a horizontal line and started to run down the halls we put out our middle fingers and yelled different profanities. We ran out of the school and down the stairs. We caught our breaths and looked at eachother. We started to die in laughter.
"Okay, I'll go with Julie and Annie." I said as we stopped laughing. The boys nodded and walked away. I guess even in a new school we will stick together
