A/N: This song just seemed to fit so well. For you stupid people, it's Your Eyes from the musical Rent. Yes, I am quite aware that the two movies have nothing to do with each other. The song went well. xP Okay, well, enjoy. Eat cookies, if you wish.

My initial feeling was rage towards that little brat, Victoria. What right did she have? He was married to me. She stole him. Right out from under me. And she showed up, uninvited, I might add, to our wedding, which her presence ruined.

Then I saw it. That day-dreamy look behind his eyes, a matching one in hers. Love. I hadn't felt true love in a long time. It wouldn't have been fair for me to keep him, to make them both suffer for my temporary happiness. So…I let him go. That butterfly thing? Simply a fancy way of getting home. The reason I'm in this purgatory is because I was betrayed. I have to find true love, and I'll be set free.

It was hard to do, don't get me wrong. To let go my seemingly only chance of freedom broke my heart. I still love him. I probably always will. But…he's happy now. What more could I ask for? Wait, don't answer that, there's a lot more that I could ask for.

Greed is a harsh emotion, as is jealousy. I can't help but hope, that maybe, one day, he'll decide to come back…

Your Eyes

As we said our goodbyes

Can't get them out of my mind

And I find I can't hide from

Your eyes

The Ones That Took Me By Surprise
The Night You Came Into My Life
Where There's Moonlight
I See Your Eyes

How'd I Let You Slip Away
When I'm Longing So To Hold You
Now I'd Die For One More Day
'Cause There's Something I Should
Have Told You
Yes There's Something I Should Have
Told You

When I Looked Into Your Eyes
Why Does Distance Make Us Wise?
You Were The Song All Along
And Before The Song Dies

I Should Tell You I Should Tell You
I Have Always Loved You
You Can See It In My Eyes

A/N: See? Toldja it fit. Well, anyways, review, flame, whatever. Lily say au revoir now!
