Sneak Attack

Cid wanted a peek at that Magun. Cid had a plan.
Well, more of a vague idea than a plan, but still.
Kaze had been known to hide in one of the back store rooms of Jane, sulking or brooding or what ever it was he did sitting off to the side. So Cid was sneaking from room to room, looking for his elusive prey. Oh, how badly he wanted to pop open that gold casing and take apart the machine inside! He'd put it back together after he was done, of course, but he at least wanted the chance to look.
The spiky haired blonde thought himself very stealthy when e found the right store room and slunk around the boxes. Kaze had his back to Cid and made no motion as if he had noticed another presence. Cid grinned and started to pull back the heavy cowl Kaze wore.
And he found himself staring down the barrel of a gun.
"Ah… H-hi Kaze."
The Magun wielder turned, staring Cid down with his cold blue eyes.
"Um…Uh…Well, I…" He started stuttering. Kaze's glare was certainly unnerving.
"Leave."
"B-but-"
"Now."
"But I want to see your Magun! Please please please please!" Cid threw his arms around Kaze, begging and pleading. The stoic man didn't move and let Cid carry on for a few minutes.
"No."
"But Kaze!"
"No." Kaze was stronger than his scrawny build betrayed. He pried Cid off him and deposited the inventor on to the floor. Thinking the matter resolved, he turned to leave.
And Cid tackled his legs.
Now, while the Magun was a powerful and valuable weapon, it tended to render its user slightly off balance. Kaze came crashing to the ground. Somehow he had landed on his back, and Cid was straddling him.
"Ha! I've got you now!"
Kaze growled.
Cid yelped as their positions where rapidly reversed. Now Kaze was the one pinning him to the floor.
"Hey! Get off me!"
"No."
This was bad. This was very bad. The man with the gun was pissed. Cid wracked his brain for the best way to diffuse the situation. Which was hard to do under the heated glares he was getting.
The man with the weapons was very mad indeed. Not to mention he was drop dead sexy this close up, but he was still very mad.
'Aaaah! No! Bad thoughts!' Cid kicked himself mentally and shook his head. 'Now is not the time…'
Or was it?
That's when a devious idea to get out of this mess hit him. Cid pushed up far enough to crash his lips against Kaze's.
The gunman froze in shock and confusion. Cid took advantage of that, pressing further in to a bruising kiss.
Kaze was the one to break off, flinging himself backward, away from the grinning blonde. Cid looked pleased with himself.
"Ya know Kaze, could I have a look at you instead?"
"Out. Now."

He restrained the urge to laugh until he was a safe distance away from Kaze's store room. That last command had been stern, but there had been no anger behind it. And although Cid haddn't been able to study the Magun, he still considered the trip well spent.
Cid now had his own weapon against the Black Wind.

Yeah. I'm not a huge fan of Lisa (though she has grown on me somewhat) and I only look up Kaze X Lisa out of desperation. And because everyone seems to like White Cloud and his brother together, who else could Carolyn possibly put our dearest amnesiac with?
Cid. Cid is adorable. And our current cosplay would demand it.
