They were straight out of the academy, and the whole crew had no idea how to work the prototype BlitzWolf. They were still without command officers until the officers arrived at the Tokyo base,and until then, five young ensigns were in command of the ship and its preparations.
"I don't even think I'm ready for a temporary command," commented ensign (temporary Captain) Edward Tepan Malot.
"Don't worry cause it's only temporary. Right," responded ensign (commander) Chase Fallom Shuuvat?
"I guess, but I don't like the idea we could get attacked at any moment," he responded.
"Don't worry sir...sir hmm...ha how could two best friends who just graduated from the academy be so many ranks apart within one week, like I mean it has to be a new record or something," blurted ensign (lieutenant) Shang Li Xio from the above radar screens without realizing that there were enemy units closing in on them.
"I won't worry when you are watching that screen Shang," Edward commanded hoping while they were talking that no enemies came by.
"Sir we have a problem," Shang suddenly announced, "enemy units fifty thousand meters and closing rapidly!"
"How long were they on the screen," Edward quickly asked?
"like three seconds sir," reported Shang.
"damn get us out of here as quickly as possible lieutenant Gonan," commanded Edward.
"but sir we have to wait for the commanding officers," Ensign (lieutenant) Trevize Pelorat Gonan questioned.
"We have no choice and what's five people who are in a supersonic jet compared to an entire ship," answered Edward, "so get the ship sealed up and off the ground."
"Yes sir," he responded, "all hands prepare for take off and an attack from unfriendly units."
"Get me a pilot's suit I'll take the prototype Gundam out for a test-drive," Edward commanded, "We have no choice but to fight back and I'll hold them off until we launch."
"But no one's allowed to touch the mobile suit it is still classified," said Chase who was making sure that they got all the airlocks sealed.
"Well it's the only mobile suit on board, and I'm the only qualified pilot on board," He retorted, the enemy won't care if it is classified or not they will just destroy us all."
He then ran to the elevator and went to the hanger level. Within a few seconds he was pulling the tarp off the prototype gundam and climbing in, as soon as he activated the computer it said, "customizing for solitary pilot. State name and rank."
"uhh...Acting Captain Edward Tepan Malot," he said cautiously.
"Customizing for pilot..............Customizing complete RX-79-GLW Gundam Lone Wolf online," and at that second the entire cockpit lit up and view screens brightened with the image of the hangar bay.
"This is Gundam Lone Wolf on the catapult and ready for launch," geared Edward. In the next second he was launched out of the hangar into the outside runway. Just as the first Zaku III Appeared.
