Wow! It's been a while, right? Haha. Well, this story might be crappy. I didn't feel like editing it so I just posted my rough draft. But, it's something I felt like writing. Please Review :')
A small sigh escaped from the lips of a Konoha kunoichi.
Her long blonde hair in a high ponytail swayed side to side as she walked down the dirt path.
Yamanaka Ino, that's what her name was. Otherwise known as one of Uchiha Sasuke's crazed fan girls.
"Where am I going?" She muttered to herself.
She suddenly came to a stop and looked to her right out of instinct.
Ichiraku Ramen.
"Why not?" she muttered again and lifted up one of the red curtains and went to take a seat.
This definitely wasn't her ideal place to hang out on a free day. But was there really much to do when you're feeling down?
She sat on one of the stools and sighed in frustration while she balled her hands into fists and pressed it to her forehead and sighed heavily.
"Ino?" A small voice came from behind her.
Ino jumped a bit; startled, but reluctantly turned around; not wanting to talk to anybody.
"A-Are you alright?"
A small smile appeared on Ino's face. "Yeah, I'm fine, Hinata. No worries."
Hinata's milky gaze softened. "Alright then. I was just passing through."
Ino nodded and Hinata disappeared. She sighed once more.
"Why doesn't he like me?", She mumbled to herself, "I don't understand.", she was trying to fight back hot tears that were forming.
"Ino-pig." Said a harsh voice.
Ino immediately knew who that was.
"What do you want bill-board brow?" She retorted.
Ino hadn't realized Team 7 had walked in.
Oh god. I wonder if they heard me.
She blushed slightly at the topaz eyes that were staring at her from one of the seats.
"What's wrong?" Naruto asked out of nowhere.
Ino was about to make yet another sarcastic reply, but stopped when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around to find, Yamanaka Inoichi, otherwise known as her father.
"Yeah, dad?"
"Your mom and I have to run down to the next village for the flowers we were supposed to pick up yesterday. Can you watch the store while we're gone?" He asked.
"Oh yeah, sure." She replied and left without saying good-bye to Team 7.
When she arrived at her family's Yamanaka Flower Shop the sign said 'closed', she went in and a small smile appeared on her face once more, happy that she was alone for a while, happy that she can think.
She went to the desk and reached behind it to grab her apron.
A bell jingled behind her, indicating that someone had walked in. She froze.
Can't they read? The store is closed.
She slowly turned around to find that raven-haired boy she loved so much.
"S-Sasuke?" Ino stuttered, eyes wide with surprise.
There was silence in the room as they stared at each other for a long time. Ino finally broke the silence.
"D-did you read the sign? T-The store is---"
She stopped when Sasuke finally stepped forward towards her. She backed up into the counter.
What the hell was he doing here?
Sasuke was in front of Ino, trapped her like a mouse in a corner. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.
"S-Sasuke, I—"
Cut off again, as she gasped when Sasuke's fingers reached down to grab her chin and move his head down onto her lips. He kissed her for a while. He pulled back a bit to look at her face. Sasuke pressed his lips softly onto Ino's again, once, twice . . . a third time.
He leaned next to her ear and whispered,
'I'll be here for you until the rain stops falling on your heart.'
