Hey guys! This one's a request from the ever-charming SapphireSpade-san! I'm sorry if it's very short or if it's not to your liking. Also, I chose Shindou just because, I guess? From my view, he fits with your OC more than Kirino.

Disclaimer applies, happy reading, especially you, SapphireSpade-san!

美しいあなたの告白

[ confession of the beautiful you ]

[ "You're just like a flower," he said, "So beautiful and calming." ]

Hanaraki Akara loves flowers, very much so. Flowers don't judge people; they stand by where they are, calm and collected, yet beautiful and prideful. To be like a flower was what Akara always wanted; she was always a shy and stammery person she couldn't help but to look down on herself, just like what other people did. She wanted to make friends, but her shyness was… kind of over the top.

Akara sighed on her way back from school, "I really… should stop being so pathetic like this." She thought, "It's very unsightly… I bet Akoro-niisan is embarrassed because of me."

She heaved a long sigh, again.

"Stop being so pathetic, Aka—"

The growling sound of a car snapped her out from her self-pity; however, in a bad way…

"Mommy! Daddy! Let's go quicker!"

"Aka-chan, don't run like that!"

"But Mommy—!"

It happened so quickly; the car's horn blared, and screams sounded…

Akara froze; memories—particularly, sorrowful and scary ones—seep in to her mind, as she slowly lose consciousness… everything went black.

When she opened her eyes, she was greeted by the sight of white, plain walls. She blinked once, and then twice, until she finally adjusted to the dim lighting of the room.

When she regained her full senses, she finally realized that she was inside a hospital room. She remembered that she lost her consciousness in the middle of the street… who brought her here? She must thank the person! Had they not helped her…

She shivered.

The door creaked open softly as a brown-haired boy walked in calmly, with a small smile on his face, "You're finally awake." He said.

"…Ah! S-shindou-san!" she stammered. She could not believe that in front of her was the Shindou Takuto! The ace playmaker of the soccer club… and her crush. S-she must look so… so bad right now!

"Hanaraki-san… right?" Shindou said, as he sat down on the chair beside the bed.

"Y-yes, I am…" Akara replied, trying to control her emotions. It would be bad if she was to look pathetic in front of him…!

"Hanaraki-san," the sudden change of tone almost made Akara flinch; Shindou was talking with such serious voice, "Why did you suddenly blank out in the middle of the street? It almost made me had a heart attack…"

"Ah, I—"

"Wait… did he just said… heart attack?" Akara thought, but she though that it might just be her imagination.

"You're…?" Shindou asked impatiently.

"I-I'm… umm…" The scarlet haired girl stuttered, "I-I have… motorphobia—fear of cars—because of um… childhood… accident…"

Shindou looked relieved for a second, and he heaved a sigh, "I see…" he said, "I thought you had some disease I didn't know…"

"…Shindou-san?"

"…The truth is…" The way Shindou hung his sentence made Akara gulp. Just what is it that he's going to say…?

"…I…" Shindou seem to be hesitating whether or not to say the words.

"…Shindou-san, please do not hesitate," Akara said, as she smiled, "If… if it's something I can help with, then I'll do my best…" Her smile brightens Shindou's world, somehow.

"You're right," Shindou replied, "…Hanaraki-san, the truth is…"

"I'm in love with you." Those words of confession made Akara's heart beats faster than ever; she felt like she could burst any time soon.

"…S-s-s-shindou-s-san…"

"…Please call me Takuto," said he, as he leaned in and kissed Akara's cheeks, "…Akara-chan."

Akara swore that that day, she might have attained real happiness.
