"Ryuk I can't do this anymore" light sighed. "I can't keep pretending I love misa, because I don't."
The shinigami looked up at light.
"I love you ryuk, it's always been you." Light said
"Really?" Ryuk said. "I thought you were into L"
Light rolled his eyes. "He tries so hard to be emo with his hair and smudged eyeliner but he'll never be as emo as you."
Ryuk's eyes filled with tears. "You... You really mean it?"
"Of course i do. has anyone ever told you that you look like Andy Biersack?" "i guess i do kinda look like him'" ryuk said, smiling at light. Light took Ryuk's hand into his and pulled him closer so that he was staring deep into the shinigami's eyes. He gently caressed Ryuk's cheek.
"From the moment I picked up that notebook and saw you, I knew we were meant to be. It was love at first sight."
"I know the feeling." Ryuk said, and kissed light passionately.
"I will always love you no matter what happens." Light murmured, kissing ryuk again.
"Mr. Yagami, I think you should come look at this." said L, turning his head toward the chief. "The secret camera we put in light's room has um... well I think you might want to see this for yourself" L eyed the computer. To him and the light's father, Light Yagami appeared to be making out with the air.
"What... what in god's name is my son doing?!"
L quietly turned off the monitor. "I think we should take a break for now" he said, walking out of the room. When he was alone, a single tear rolled down his cheek. "He said i only TRY to be emo. How could he betray me like that. I can't believe it. Who could possibly be more emo than me?"
