AN: Okay, so I wrote this when I was bored. It's medieval times, pretending that Edward existed back then (not too hard) and is tragic Mary Sue (okay, pretty hard) and in verse (REALLY hard to sound serious!) I like the ideas and will A.) turn into a story or B.) turn into a contest. So, enjoy! Laugh, cry, flame, love, whatever... :-D
DISCLAIMER: I own nothing... sad, isn't it?
My Silly Poem With a Good Idea
There once was a maiden with skin so faire,
Her golden heart was filled with care.
Her hair was woven with the colors of fall
And her various talents were envied by all.
Although as blessed as she appears to be,
Her hand in marriage was not free.
Her life was filled with utter dread
For the moment she'd be 16, she'd be dead! (Not literally.)
She was betrothed, or so you see,
To man with the name of "Vladimir Lee".
Said she, "an escape is what I need!"
So that night, she gave him extra mead.
While he was out cold, she crept away,
(She'd packed her things earlier that day.)
She fled with fear all that night
And fell asleep at dawn's first light.
A certain Edward Cullen saw her sleeping, so refined
He fell in love at first sight, but she was not of his "kind".
Little did he know that she watched him through long lashes,
Not knowing he would, for her heart, be the needed patches.
His long-still heart ached at the thought of leaving her behind,
And if he'd woken her, her heart would've too! (Or so he'd find.)
So, he changed her, but was immediately ashamed,
So he walked away & forgot of this love, now famed.
He later found his own Miss Bella Swan,
But our maiden's blind love for him lives on.
And now she walks the Earth in vain,
Wishing only to see him again.
