Karina Mills scrolled through the page that she had open on her laptop screen; the light from the portable computer illuminated her face and upper chest area from the darkness of her room. She peeked down at the time that was displayed on the right bottom corner of the screen – it read 9:53 p.m.

The mission was only three hours away.

The mission she was fine with completing before, but after she scrolled through the page on her laptop, she didn't know if she could go through with the mission after all.

On the page read the names of all the people she and the rest of her gang would be killing later in the night. Karina never had a problem with killing members of rival gangs-especially the ones that liked to hurt innocent bystanders and citizens-but when she read one of the names on the list to be killed, and when she saw his picture that was under his name, Karina instantly wanted to back out of her group's most recent assignment.

Dolph Ziggler. That was one of the names that was on their list. And Karina didn't want it to be.

Dolph had been a past lover. Before she joined the Red Serpents, she was apart of a different gang – the Blood Hounds. When she joined the Blood Hounds, she fell in love with Dolph, and while Karina was in the Blood Hounds for the next few years, she maintained an amazing relationship with him. However, Karina struck up a feud with another young woman that was in the gang, which caused her to have to leave the Blood Hounds. When Karina asked Dolph to leave the gang with her, Dolph refused and told her that the Blood Hounds was more important to him than she ever was.

She loved Dolph when she left the Blood Hounds, and a part of her still did somewhat. There was no way that she would be able to go out on the mission for the night and watch him be executed. There just was no way. She wouldn't be able to handle it.

You shouldn't give on shit about him anymore, Karina's mind told her. He cared more about the gang than he ever cared about you – it's time to let him go. Besides, you have Seth now. Why the hell do you need to hold onto some guy that was in your past, and that never loved you the way that Seth loves you now.

Her mind was right. Her current boyfriend, Seth Rollins, loved her way more than Dolph ever did. Seth was more appreciative of her, and was more grateful of her presence. He gave her gifts almost on a weekly basis – something Dolph never did. Plus, he told her how amazing and beautiful she was daily; Dolph complimented her every now and then.

Then why kind of amazing relationship did we have? Karina thought to herself as she started remembering more and more about her past with Dolph. How could I have pictured our connection as wonderful, when in all reality, it wasn't? I thought it was amazing…

Karina was lost in her thoughts about her previous years with Dolph when she heard someone yell at her. She snapped out of her trance and turned her face from the laptop screen to the doorway of her bedroom to find Echo Estrada and Sasha Banks standing there.

"Oh…Hey…" Karina greeted softly.

"We just came to remind you that the last meeting about the mission is in an hour," Echo told her. "Make sure to be there so we can hammer out the plans for the assignment."

"Okay. I'll be there."

Echo and Sasha then left Karina alone to make their way towards the meeting room. Once they were gone, Karina turned her attention back onto the screen of the laptop to read the other gang members' names. There were a lot of rivals her gang was going to end up killing later in the night.

Aiden English.

Curtis Axel.

Alicia Fox.

Jinder Mahal.

Tyler Breeze.

Dana Brooke.

Zack Ryder.

Heath Slater.

Bo Dallas.

And Dolph Ziggler.

Those were the Red Serpents' targets for the night. All of them were to be killed, no ifs, ands or buts. They had recently burned down a shipping warehouse that the Red Serpent's owned, which ended up killing a few of their members, and revenge was due. The Blood Hounds needed to be taught a lesson, and this was the way that they were going to realize that they should've never messed with the Red Serpents in the first place.

Karina blew out a deep breath. She had to watch Dolph die. There was nothing she could do about it. Even though Dolph was never as loving or affectionate as Seth was, she still cared for him and his well-being somewhat. She never wanted to see harm come to him. But now…There was no choice

Dolph had to be killed.

An hour later, Karina stepped into the meeting room with her laptop in her arms. She scanned the room quickly, finding Echo sitting on her boyfriend's lap. She walked straight to them, wanting to find out if they knew any of the gang members they had planned to kill later on.

"Sup baby girl," Roman Reigns said to Karina once she got near him and Echo. "You find out the identities of the fuckers that burned our warehouse down?"

"Yeah, they're right here," she responded. She handed her laptop to Roman so that he could see who was on the list. "These are the people that we're going to kill tonight."

Roman and Echo looked through the list. Neither of them said anything about the gang members that the Red Serpents planned on targeting; Roman just handed the laptop back to Karina.

"Anybody you recognize?" Karina asked them.

"Nope," Roman answered. "They must be new members to the Blood Hounds or some shit like that."

"I don't think so. I know one of the guys – Dolph – he's been in the Blood Hounds for quite a few years."

"Oh yeah?" Echo wondered. "You used to fuck him?"

"You could say that," Karina said. "We uh…We were together when I was in the Blood Hounds myself."

"That isn't going to cause a problem with getting the job done tonight, will it?" Roman questioned with his eyebrows raised.

"No," Karina quickly replied. "I mean…I'm nervous to see him again, and I think it'll be difficult to watch him suffer, but…"

"But the mission's gotta be completed," Echo finished for her. "You're an important part of this damn assignment, you have to come with us tonight with a clear mind. We can't have you out there on the job making stupid fucking mistakes all because you can't get over lover boy."

Karina shook her head. "I won't let my past with him get to me. I already got over the whole situation earlier in my room. There will be no problems tonight."

"Good," Roman commented. "I knew you could handle your position well."

Karina was about to say something back when she heard someone whistle. Everyone in the meeting room turned towards the person. It was Hunter who had gotten everyone's attention. He was standing next to Stephanie-his wife-in the middle of the room. A table sat in front of the couple with papers scattered everywhere on it.

"Listen up, everyone!" Hunter called out. "We have a plan to kill the sons of bitches that burned our warehouse down tonight, and we need everyone to listen in on the plan so that everyone knows what they're doing tonight!" Hunter looked through the crowd of people, his eyes landing upon Karina. He motioned for her to come over to him and his wife. Karina walked over to them and placed his laptop on the table that was covered with papers. "Karina is going to go over the names of our victims. We have several that need to be taken out tonight."

Hunter gestured to Karina, letting her know that she could start reading out the names. "We have ten members from the Blood Hounds that we're going to be executing tonight. They are: Aiden English, Curtis Axel, Alicia Fox, Jinder Mahal, Tyler Breeze, Dana Brooke, Zack Ryder, Heath Slater, Bo Dallas and Dolph Ziggler."

Hunter then pointed to a whiteboard on the wall, which was covered in pictures of the ten gang members they were targeting. "These are what the ten look like. They're all currently staying at some cabins at Lake McBride, which is thirty minutes away. The plan is to wake them up in the middle of the night when they're least expecting us to attack." Hunter quickly dug something out of his pocket. He held up a lighter in his hand. "This is what you are going to use to kill those sons of bitches. They decided to burn our warehouse down, so…We're going to burn their bodies until there isn't anything left of them!"

Everyone cheered and started clapping.

Hunter held his hand up, signaling the crowd that they needed to quiet down. "Now, Stephanie and I have stocked the cars with gasoline and lighter fluid. Once you get to the cabins, you will break into them, and start pouring the gasoline and the lighter fluid all over each and every one of their bodies. After they're covered, take your lighters and drop them onto their flesh. That will surely show those bastards that they can't fuck with the Red Serpents!"

The crowd began to cheer and clap again.

Hunter silenced them again. "You all will need to leave in an hour and a half. Make sure you have your guns with you make sure to leave the scene as soon as possible. I don't want to see or hear about any of you getting arrested, got it?"

"Got it, boss," everyone said in unison.

Hunter and Stephanie left the room to leave the crowd to think through the mission themselves. Karina sighed as she shut her laptop. She was about to head back over to Echo and Roman, but she felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist from behind. She knew who it was instantly.

"You ready to do this, sweetheart?" Seth huskily whispered into her ear.

"Of course I am. Do you think I've suddenly become weak or something?"

"No. I was just asking. I know how tough you are. It's not like you haven't killed people before."

Exactly, her mind told her. Don't think about Dolph. Just go through this mission like it's any other – like you don't know anybody that's going to end up dead later. You don't want to mess up the high position you were just rewarded. Remember what Echo and Roman said: you're an important part of each and every assignment from now on, and everybody believed that you could handle this new position well. Don't fuck it up just because of some guy you used to have a fling with.

Karina turned around so that she was facing her boyfriend. "You're right. I'm a tough bitch, aren't I?"

Seth chuckled. "From what you've told me about your days with the Blood Hounds, and from everything I've seen you done here with the Red Serpents, I would have to say yes." He leaned down, brushing his lips against her's as he tightened his hold on her. He pulled away slightly so that he could look her straight in the eye. "You're my little, tough bitch."

Karina giggled before she leaned up on her tip-toes to press her lips against his. She almost got lost in their kiss when she heard Echo's voice.

"For fuck's sake, get a room, would ya?" Echo complained.

Karina pulled away from Seth to give her best friend an annoyed look. "Like I haven't seen you and Roman making out, on the verge of having sex, multiple times."

"We look sexy when we make out, though," Echo defended herself. "You and Seth just look like you're sucking each other's faces off."

Karina rolled her eyes. "Whatever. Maybe you're just jealous."

"Jealous?" Echo scoffed. She patted Roman's large chest. "This beast is the sexiest man alive, everyone is jealous of me, bitch."

"I would have to disagree, Echo. I would have to say Seth is the sexiest man alive."

"Seth doesn't have Roman's Samoan sleeve, though," Echo argued. "That's what tops it off for making Roman the sexiest guy on the planet."

"No, but I have this tattoo," Seth claimed, holding up his wrist. On the inside of his wrist, he had a tattoo of a red snake.

"We all have that same tattoo, you fucking dumbass," Roman stated. He held up the arm that didn't contain his tribal ink. Just like Seth, he had the same red snake tattooed onto the skin of the inside of his wrist.

"Exactly. I win this argument," Echo declared. "Look, we're gonna go get ready for tonight. See ya later, yeah?"

"Definitely." Karina watched Roman and Echo leave the meeting room. "They're totally not getting ready, they're going to go have sex."

"I wouldn't mind some action right now," Seth said.

"Seth!" Karina whined as she slapped his chest. "We need to get our minds focused on tonight, not on having sex."

Seth let out an annoyed sigh. "Fine. I guess you're right." Seth's hands moved from Karina's waist to her butt. He cupped her cheeks, which caused Karina to blush. She just hoped nobody was looking at them right now. "But…Maybe when we get back from the hit, I can get a little fun?"

"I don't know, it'll be late at night Seth…" Seth gave Karina a pouty expression. She giggled, finding his expression cute. "Okay, if I'm in the mood when we get back, then we will." With that said, she pulled Seth's lips down to her's so that she could kiss him passionately.

"You guys ready?" Roman asked everybody.

"Yes. These fuckers deserve the shit we're gonna give them," Echo grumbled out.

Karina turned to Echo, who was sitting on her left. Echo was holding a small picture in her hands. The picture was of a guy named Sami Zayn – he was one of Echo's closest guy friends and was also one of the casualties from the Blood Hounds burning down the warehouse. Echo was ready to get back at the idiots who killed Sami.

Karina then turned to her right, where Sasha was sitting. She was holding her pistol in her hands, ready to kill anyone in sight. Sami was also one of her closest guy friends, and just like Echo, she was ready to get revenge for what the Blood Hounds did.

Roman sat in the driver's seat of the SUV, his eyes remaining on the road in front of him. He hardly talked on the way to the lake, which meant that he was ready to cause some chaos. Seth sat next to him in the passenger's seat and had also not said anything on the thirty-minute ride. Whenever Seth was in the zone though, he would listen to some rock music. On the ride down, no music was played; the ride remained quiet. This meant that the mission they were about to complete was extremely personal and important – they didn't want anything messing up with how they felt at the moment.

It didn't take long after Echo had spoken to reach an area near the cabins by the lake. Roman turned the car off and turned towards the woman that were sitting in the backseat.

"Y'all got your lighters?" The three women fished for the lighters they were given before they had set out for the drive, then they showed them off to the Samoan man. "Good. Seth and I will grab the gasoline and lighter fluid. Our assignment is to take care of cabin three, we'll head to it once we have everything."

The five gang members got out of the car. As Roman and Seth started taking everything they needed out of the trunk of the SUV, Karina checked to make sure her loaded pistol was still in the back pocket of her jeans. Even though the plan to kill the members of the Blood Hounds were to burn them alive, all of them brought their guns with them in case they needed to protect themselves or in case the job got out of hand.

More SUV's pulled near the five of them. Five gang members were in each SUV, and three different SUV's pulled up near them. Each team that rode together down to the lake had assigned cabins to go to. Even though all of them were given different people to kill, they all had the same goal in the end: to get rid of each and every member of the Blood Hounds that had burned their warehouse down, and had ended up killing a few of the Red Serpents' members.

After all the gasoline and lighter fluid had been taken out of the cars, Roman looked around at everybody that was there to complete the job. "You guys ready to take care of this shit?" Everyone said yes. "Alright. Let's get this over with."

The twenty members of the Red Serpent quietly started walking quietly down to the cabins by the edge of the lake. Like a map Karina had seen earlier in the night, there were five cabins sitting close to each other. On their way down, she accidently bumped into Kevin Owens. When she was about to apologize to him for making contact with him, she noticed the tears in his eyes. Sami was his best friend, and she knew that Kevin missed him terribly. She knew that he was ready to send hell on the Blood Hounds.

Karina, Seth, Roman, Echo and Sasha surrounded cabin two moments later. Roman signaled to Seth to break the door down. Seth nodded, stepped up to the door, and kicked it down with his foot. The five of them stormed into the cabin, finding two of the Blood Hounds sleeping together in the bed. The two that they had found in there was Dana Brooke and Dolph Ziggler.

Oh fuck, Karina thought to herself. I'm really going to have to watch him die.

"What the hell is this?" Dolph yelled out, instantly jumping out of bed.

Roman charged towards Dolph and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. He pushed Dolph up against the wall of the cabin and got in his face, wanting to scare him as much as he could. "We're the Red Serpents. And we're here to get the revenge that we deserve."

As Roman started beating on Dolph, Sasha and Echo grabbed Dana. They took her arms and threw her out of the bed and onto the floor. Sasha and Echo held Dana down on the floor as Seth poured gasoline all over the blonde-haired woman. Dana screamed out for her life as Dolph pleaded for Roman to stop.

"Karina?"

Karina turned her attention to Seth, who was motioning towards Dana. He was waiting for her to take the lighter and set Dana on fire. Doing what she had to, Karina grabbed the lighter she was given earlier in the night. Walking towards Dana, she made a flame with it, and leaned down to Dana.

"Now you know that you should've never messed with the Red Serpents."

Karina then dropped the lit lighter onto Dana. Karina was worried that the lighter wouldn't stay lit, and that she would have to re-light it, but that thought instantly escaped her mind when Dana's whole body caught on fire. Dana started screaming out in agony. It wasn't the first time Karina nor the other four had heard those types of screams. Killing people was their job – they were used to hearing gang members in so much pain. Karina, Seth, Echo and Sasha stepped away from Dana's body. It wasn't long until she was done screaming, and had taken her last breath.

When Roman was done beating the shit out of Dolph, he started pouring some of the lighter fluid on Dolph. Dolph tried to fight back, but Roman had overpowered him. Dolph laid in pain on the floor while Roman had his foot holding him down to the ground. Roman then took his own lighter out of his pocket and threw it down on Dolph's body. Dolph's body engulfed in flames. Just like Dana, Dolph started screaming out in terrible agony and started rolling around on the floor, hoping the flames would be extinguished somehow.

The four of them left the cabin, wanting to recuperate with the rest of the gang members. Karina take one last look at Dolph writhing in pain before she left the cabin herself.

Goodbye, Dolph. It was nice knowing ya, she thought.

When she joined up with the four she was just in the cabin with, Karina noticed the other screams that were coming from the other cabins. Before long, all the cabins were completely covered in flames. There would be no evidence left behind. The police wouldn't be able to figure out that the Red Serpents were the ones who had committed these killings.

"That was so fucking easy," Echo said. "It was like they were waiting for us to come murder their asses."

"I agree. This was one of the easiest jobs we've ever pulled off," Sasha said. "They never thought that we'd be able to figure out where they were staying, and they let their guards down."

"And now they'll know to never fuck with us ever again," Roman growled out as he wrapped his arm around Echo's waist. He kissed the top of her head. "Good job, baby girl."

"I hardly did anything," Echo clarified. "I just held that stupid bitch down. You guys did most of the work. You should get the praise."

That's when Dean Ambrose came up to all the gang members. He had a young woman in his arms, who he threw down onto the dirt in front of everybody. "I found this chick down by the lake. What do ya'll think I should do to her?"

"Obviously kill her!" AJ Styles-another gang member-called out to him. "She's a witness! If we let her go, she'll tell the police!"

"No! I won't! I promise!" the girl begged, tears streaming down her face as her arms were wrapped protectively around herself. "I'll never tell anyone what I saw! I swear!"

"We can't trust her," another gang member-Nia Jax-added. "She's just lying to save her own pathetic life."

Dean grabbed his pistol from his back pocket and aimed it at the girl's head. "Tell me when to shoot Roman, and I will."

"No!" Karina shouted out. "We are not killing her! She is an innocent bystander! We aren't the Blood Hounds – we don't kill anybody that isn't in a gang!"

"Oh, shut the fuck up Karina and just kill the bitch!" Rusev yelled.

Karina pushed Dean away from the girl. "No! We aren't killing her!" Karina looked around at everybody that was surrounding them. "Since when do we kill anybody but gang members?! Huh?! Because I'd really like to know!" Nobody replied back, so Karina continued. "We were ordered to only kill the ten from the Blood Hounds! That was it! And we just accomplished that!" Karina gestured to the five cabins that were on fire. "We're done! We are going to leave this woman alone, and go back home!"

The gang members started arguing, trying to figure out what they all should do. Roman got angry and yelled at everyone to shut up. "Karina is right! We aren't going to murder this young woman! Hunter and Stephanie gave us strict orders tonight, and we just got done with those orders, so we're done here. There's nothing left for us to do." His grey eyes moved down to the girl that was crying and shaking in front of all of them on the ground. "But…She will have to come with us."

"What does that mean?" Echo questioned.

"That means…That she'll have to become one of us."

"What?! Hell no!" Carmella fought. "This girl wouldn't be able to handle it! Look at her now! She wouldn't be able to last one minute with us!"

Roman dismissed Carmella's words and crouched down so that he was closer to the girl's face. "I know you're not going to want to come with us, but you don't have a choice. We'll have to take us with you."

"No!" the girl screamed out. "I just want to go home! Please! I'll do anything if you just let me go!"

Roman sighed as he stood back up. "Take her with you," he told Dean. "She's coming with us. She won't want to, but…It's the only option we have."

"What?! No!" the girl yelped as Dean wrapped his arms around her. "Please! I won't say anything to anybody!"

The girl protested for her life the whole way back to the Red Serpent's home.
