A/N) Enjoy this story... I don't even know what I'm going to do about it anymore. It seems like the start of a story, but it's kind of better without one. It 's meant to be the backstory for my OCs, Sven and Ryu, the twins. Enjoy x.x

Silence

The female raced across the ground, two bundles in her arms. She dared not to trip over her long, snakelike tail, and she concentrated on running. The WildHunt was after her, and she knew it. She concentrated on the children she held, one with tiny purple wings, and the other with a red snakelike, arrow-tipped tail, much like hers. She smiled shortly, the wind rushing past her ears. She skidded to a stop by the cliff that was covered with clouds.

I'm sorry, my children, she thought to herself, extending her arms. Remember that I'll always love you. She shut her eyes, took a deep breath, and dropped them over the edge. The child with purple wings twitched them, slightly slowing their fall. She knew that they wouldn't be harmed no matter what speed they fell at. They were part demons - they won't be harmed by falling.

Her heart ached - but it was her fault anyway. She had went off and eloped with a male demon who had ditched her the moment she told him she had gotten pregnant, for someone he told her was 'better for him'. She didn't believe him, but didn't press it. Their relationship was already breaking the rules and regulations of the area, and both their Clans. So, she had given him up.

She had every right to expect them to be either fully a demon or fully a devil. She didn't expect the two traits would merge together. No Clan would accept them now. She had to leave them before either of the Clans got suspicious.

But she was too late - the WildHunt had found them.

She's throwing them away for the good of them.

Surely when they grew up, they would understand.

...Right?

"Find the woman and her two children!"

The WildHunt leader bared his teeth, Widam Staff in his hands. The Cereberus hounds sniffed the air, picking up the scent. They growled, swinging their heads at a certain direction. The assassins around the area heard the growling and hefted their Angelic Betrayals, and they darted off to follow the leader's orders.

They veered towards the edge of an area where an entire part of the island broke off, leading a short passageway to the Human's Islands - it was called Victoria Island, they believed? - and they charged through the area.

They found the woman, with empty arms, looking out at the small island below them. She turned, and held out her arms. She knew the punishment, that was clear. The leader stepped forward, chained her with magic.

She kept looking over her shoulder, with a disconcerting, wistful smile on her face. This wasn't going to be forgotten by anyone. All of the assassins, warriors and pirates knew that.

But as long as they kept her, and the children were never revealed their true heritage... things are going to be just fine...

...Right?

A/N) You know what this is going to be a proper story derived off "Strange", which I'm deleting. :Y
