Megatron growled in annoyance as the video feed provided by Soundwave continued to show Knock Out's escape route to join the humans and their aimless motor races. Though he didn't care what his medic did in his spare time (or anyone for that matter), it had become noticeably inconvenient, especially when he needed him and he was gone. If he had regulations on everything to alt-mode decisions, he would've never allowed the mech to choose a car over a jet. Air superiority was of great importance over the Autobots, but he had to admit Knock Out and Breakdown had provided useful with vehicle alt-modes. He reached out and ended the feed, the screen flicking off.

"Soundwave," he spoke aloud. "Record any and all signs of Knock Out leaving this ship again, and report them to me immediately. I need to know who goes off this ship, and who returns."

Silence was his reply, as usual, but after a few nanokliks of hearing no pedsteps leave the room, he turned to see what was going on. Soundwave was still in the room, but he seemed to be hunched over his datastation.

"Soundwave."

He didn't move.

"Soundwave?"

Still didn't move.

Megatron gazed at him curiously, wondering what was going on. Soundwave never ignored him, much unlike many of his other officers, but he showed no sign that he was speaking to him. Perplexed, Megatron walked over to the silent mech, stopping behind him. Soundwave still hadn't moved, nor shown any acknowledgement that his Master was right behind him. Finally he laid a servo on his shoulder, waiting for some sort of movement. Then, he concurred that he was asleep! Soundwave must've nodded off and then stayed slouched over while Megatron had been watching the video feed. This left the Decepticon warlord stuck in place. Should he wake Soundwave up, or leave him be? He had never heard of him dozing on the job, but it couldn't be comfortable recharging like that. Was he overworking himself, or forgetting to get enough Energon? He stood there debating for several moments, before pulling a thermal sheet out of the datastation's subspace. Carefully he flicked it open, then placed it around Soundwave's shoulders. It looked more like a cape than a blanket, but it should work until the Surveillance Chief decided to retire to his berth for the night. Megatron crept out of the room, shutting down the brighter lights and left Soundwave in peace.
