She did pretty well with her pregnancy hormones, mostly. Until the day she couldn't put her shoes on any more.

Her feet were too swollen to wear anything but sneakers. But the day she couldn't reach her feet to put her shoes on, she just sat on Puck's bed and cried.

He stood in their doorway and saw her in tears, clueless.

"I can't put my shoes on anymore," she said sheepishly. "I love shoes."

He couldn't help but laugh at her predicament.

"It's okay," he said, smiling, and every day after that, he put her shoes on for her.
