Sweating. Crying. Finding it hard to breathe. Why did she get like this? When did this start happening? Did it happen to everyone? More importantly was she starting to develop signs to the sickness her mother had? The first few times it happened she was alone in the Quartermaine house. She was scared but she preferred to be alone instead of in a public place where everyone could see what a freak she was becoming. She recently had started to write down when it happened.
The first time was when she saw a new born baby. In fact it was just a glimpse of Lila as Sky and Lorenzo were leaving the house. The feeling was so odd that she ran back to her room and sat on her bed for hours trying to calm down and breathe. It didn't last long but it had scared her enough to know something was not right.
The second time was when she heard Edward and Tracy talking about the abortion. They were not yelling or condemning Lulu but they were worried at how a girl of her age could handle such a traumatic ordeal especially with Luke gone. They were worried about her. She instantly started to cry and then the problems of breathing came a little bit later. The walls were closing in on her and she just needed air. That's when she started going down to the boat house.
Next it was at Ruby's when she was waiting tables and her sister in law was in the diner with Cameron. Elizabeth looked so happy with her son. Lulu couldn't help but think about the fact that they were in similar situations and not that far in age when Elizabeth had Cameron. The father was gone. She was a single mother. Lucky wasn't really back in her life yet. But Elizabeth still had kept her baby and now with all the problems that she had now she was still keeping her unborn child again. Lulu ran into the kitchen because she couldn't handle it.
Was this depression? Was she really going crazy? Well soon she would find out because the last time she hadn't been alone. She was at school. She thought she was alone in the bathroom after seeing Georgie and Dillion having one of their romantic moments and freaked out. What she didn't know was that Georgie had also seen her and followed her into the bathroom. Georgie was at first mad that Lulu was jealous and upset but then she figured out quickly this was not an ordinary Lulu episode and made her go to the doctor. When the doctor couldn't find anything, Georgie threatened to tell all of Lulu's guardians if she didn't go see Lainey.
That's why she was sitting in Lainey's office talking to her about all this ridiculous symptoms that would eventually let her know that she was going crazy just like her mother.
Lainey was talking about something called anxiety but Lulu couldn't concentrate. Anxiety might be what it is technically called but to her it was the first sign of ending up like her mom. No medicine would stop that no matter how much Lainey said it would.
