OK, This is just an idea I had: What if Hit-Girl had been too late to try to save her father, and D'Amico's men had gotten away? What would she have done? Enjoy.

She stalked towards them.

Finding them had been easy, capturing them even more so.

Now she'd had her fun; letting them cry for help. Scream threats.

Finally, breaking down, weeping, praying, wishing for a glimpse of hope.

The kind of weakness her Daddy never showed.

He never asked them for mercy.

He never gave them the satisfaction of begging for his life.

He never said a word.

Now, the men who had destroyed her life were going to pay.

She flicked her knife.

Daddy gave her these knives.

Now she was going to use them.

A siren. Getting closer.

She was too late then. She missed her chance to save them then.

They were already gone by the time she got there.

Her Daddy was gone. His killers were gone.

She wasn't going to miss her chance now.

She was going to make them pay.

Every part of their bodies would scream in pain before she gave them mercy, hope.

Then she would tear their lives apart. Make them watch.

Their wives.

Their parents.

Their friends.

Their children.

This was it. Everything was ready.

Her blades glinted in the moonlight.

It was the same warehouse. Would they know?

Would the bloodstains on the floor fill their sight like it did hers?

Now it was their blood staining the floor.

A slash here.

A swipe there.

Pictures, words, carved into them. Living memorials to her Daddy.

Only one was left.

The one who lit the fire.

The rest had bled out. She let them. Through her mercy.

This one, she kept alive. This one, had caused it all.

They had let him live.

She had let him live.

They didn't kill him.

She couldn't.

She pulled his mask off. Saw the eyes. The green eyes that had destroyed her.

He moaned.

She slit his throat. He didn't deserve her mercy.

What about her? Now she was all alone. Who would give her mercy?

Not sure about this, looks more like a poem than I realised, it just sort of flowed like this. This is my first fic, please review, let me know what you liked, didn't like, and any other thoughts about it.
