A Dream Within A Dream
I woke early one morning

To find

That it all had been a dream

The senseless lies

The broken hearts

It an odd feeling

To dream within a dream

To hear a distant resonance

Alas, it is all not what it seemed

I fear myself more

For the way I laughed

Stepping on a dead mans cheek

Yet it is really nothing...
When you know what it is you seek

Onward now! Yon' city awaits our -

Arrival as it is

Placing one foot in front of another

How great it is to live!

One life lined in up infront of another

Another will, another way

Chasing yonder rainbow

The rain washing it away

It looms now in the distance

The mirages gone with the moon

A distant howl chills my bones

It sounds like a baby that died too soon

Yet the idiograms made of ashes

And dust atop of dust

Shows us all what we're made of

We reached the city boundaries by dusk.
