AN: I feel in a morbid mood today. Maybe it's because I've been reading too many
Aeriseph fics about Aeris's death. Maybe it's because of all those dark Yuffentines.
Hmph. What ever it is, it caused this. Yuffie's POV.

"Yuffie!" I fell onto the hard earth. I knew I shouln't have tried to rob that fiend!
I'm such an idiot sometimes. Ahhg! The pain was intense. Coursing all through
my veins like little electric shocks. I was barely aware of my surroundings. I felt
something wrap around me. A blanket? No. Hold on, it's cold. Vinnie? Eh, I feel
drunk. Wait, I've never gotten drunk. Oh man, I must be worse than I thought. I
open my eyes. Yep, that's Vinnie. Wait, his eyes, they're wide. I can see the terror
in them. Hmm..."Hey Vinnie, your mask is gone..." I say and chuckle. I shouldn't
have, 'cause it turns to a cough. I look down at my shirt. Blood. Well, this sucks.
"Yuffie," Vincent says," Are you alright?" Well, gee Vinnie. I've been brutally
attacked by some fiend, there's blood all over my shirt, and I have a hacking
cough. I'd say I'm just fine, wouldn't you? I want to say that, but instead I roll
my eyes. Vincent sees. He rumages around in his bag and mine. Probably
searching for a hi-potion. He doesn't find any. "Damn Strife." I hear him mutter.
Oh my god. Vinnie cussed. Note to self, give Vinnie a hug when I'm not on the
verge of dieing. Vincent looks back at me. God, I love those eyes. Oh no. Drifting,
drifting, drifting. Now I'm in Vinnie's arms. His claw's supporting my back, while
while his human hand slowly cups my face. "Yuffie." I hear him say. His face
slowly lowers toward mine. "Yuffie, wake up." Huh? Damn hallucinations.
"Yuffie, I won't let you die, I promise." He says, worry in his tone. "Easy to
make that promise." I say. "But one that will be kept." He says back, and I believe
him.
AN: Written in about 20 minutes. Man, that came out really different than how I thought
it would. I didn't even mean to include humor. Don't judge me by this, I was just bored, in a
Yuffentine mood, and had nothing else to do. Check out my other fic, 'Turk Moments' for
