Dagger lay awake naxt to Zidane, in her royal bed chamber. She sighed
joyfully looking at him smiling in his sleep. She closed her eyes, and felt
him switch position in the bed. She was about to fall asleep, when she felt
something fuzzy stroke her cheek. Dagger opened her eyes, and saw Zidane's
tail looking at her as if it had eye's.(A/N:Does that make any sense to
you?) She put her hand up to stroke it. It wraped around her wrist, and she
giggled softly.
"You really have a mind of your own, don't you?" It seemed nod in response.
It caressed her cheek, tickled her nose, and lightly touched her lips. Garnet closed her eyes again, and felt it tickle her tummy not long after. She giggled a little, thinking, 'It's exactly like Zidane.' She giggled some more.
"Stop (Giggle) it (Giggle) please (Giggle)!" It finaly did, when she sat up. It came up to her eye level like a snake, and she softly stroked it's head. "You know, you were gone a long time. I missed you both." She smiled holding back laughter."I was scared that I'd never be able to see you guys again. I'm glad you came back. But tell me one thing." Zidane's tail seemed to look at her, intently waiting for her question. "How did YOU manage to stay under that cloak? I must have been hot."
"You'd be surprised." Dagger almost jumped out of her skin, cuz for a second there she thought that Zidane's tail had just said something to her, but it was Zidane.
"Zidane, have you been awake all this time?"
"Yep, But, you'll be happy to know that I WAS the one who was controlling my tail. But don't get me wrong it does have a mind of it's own, when I'm asleep." Zidane looked at his tail as he made it move up to Dagger's lips, and softly touch them. To Zidane's surprise, she gave it a quick kiss, and stroked it down it's back."Go further."
"Seriously Zidane. Do really think I'd fall for that?"
"Can't blame me for trying. I love you."
"I love you, too, you little monkey."
Zidane wraped his arms, and tail around her waist."Correction, I'm a GENOME."
