I had just finished cleaning and loading the guns for our next hunt when I turned around to find a very angry angel very much in my face.
"Whats up your ass, Cas?" I smirked but I could feel his hot, heavy, angry breathing on my face. He just stared at me with daggers in eyes and it actually made me a bit nervous. Finally he asked,
"Who was it Dean?"
"What are you talking about?''I stared at him dumbfounded
"Don't try to hide this from me! I know what you did!" Cas was getting more frustrated by the second, and I had no idea why. His face was getting flushed and he fisted his hands the collar of my T-shirt and pushed me against the wall of the hotel room.
''Really! I have no idea what you're talking about! Calm down!'' I spluttered out. Then I watched as Cas took a deep breath and his eyes seemed to fade from anger into hurt. I couldn't stand that look on his face, I needed to fix it. What had I done that would offend the angel so much?
"Cas, I honestly have no clue what the hell is going on in that head of yours, just please tell me whats wrong." I basically begged. Cas sighed and let go of my shirt. He slowly brought his hands up and gently grabbed both sides of my face and started sliding his thumbs back and forth over my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose.
"I was watching the television and a man on the screen said that each freckle on someone's face represents a kiss from an angel. And Dean, I certainly have never kissed you, so who did it? What angel have you been kissing so repetitively and secretively?" he muttered as he continued stroking my face and looking up at me like a lost puppy.
"Oh... Cas no!'' I couldn't help but chuckle a bit. And he did that little head tilt thing he does when he's confused.
''You can't believe everything you see on TV! That's just a legend, an old wives tale, a myth. The damn freckles come from my genetics and how much time I spend outside, exposed to sunlight.''
''Oh.'' Cas stated simply. I saw relief flood through his eyes before he looked down and stared at his shoes, letting go of my face.
''I've never kissed an angel in my life'' I said. And his eyes flicked back up to meet mine as a deep blush slowly set across his face. We stood there staring at each other for a moment until I saw his gaze slide down from my eyes and land on my lips.
Then, before I could stop myself, I laced my fingers into his hair, leaned in, closed my eyes and lightly pressed my mouth into his and whispered against his lips
''You can be my first and only angel Cas''
and suddenly freckles weren't so bad
