He knew it was wrong,

He did.

Really.

But he just couldn't help it.

It was just too tempting to listen in on a conversation between Gibbs and Director Shepard.

He had just finished a report on a case and was about to hand it in when he realized that the Director's door was slightly ajar. He frowned and jumped when Director Shepard's voice said loudly, obviously frustrated:

"What do you mean you can't fit it in?"

His eyebrows rose and he pressed his ear against the steel door.

"It just won't go in, Jen!" said Gibbs's voice, equally loud and frustrated.

"Jethro, it could go in yesterday, why can't it go in today?" asked Jenny.

By this time, his eyebrows had disappeared up his hairline, and his eyes widened, completely traumatized at the conversation he was eavesdropping on, but he couldn't seem to stop listening.

"Well, it's your fault for thinking that I'm so small!" came Gibbs's comeback.

"Actually, it's your fault for growing three inches in the last twenty-four hours!" said Jenny, and although he couldn't see either of them, he knew that the Director was smirking and Gibbs was glaring.

After a few more moments of grunting, groaning, and McGee pulling on a few more traumatized faces, Jenny sighed frustratedly.

"You're too big for this!"

"Ya think, Jen?"

They sighed collectively. There was a sound of shuffling fewwt, and Jenny said the one thing the made McGee blush for ever thinking what he did.

"I guess I'll just have to throw those pairs of jeans, then."

I dont regret anything.
