"Rock, paper, scissors. Guah! Blast it all to hell," it was a loud shout, the cry of a looser. Rei smirked looking down at her winning hand.
"Oh lookie there! Looks like your taking out the trash," Rei said this odd sort of sympathetic tone in her voice that never really sounded right.
"I swear you threw that game! I want a rematch," Jedite said never one for giving up a good fight. Rei leaned back against the wall her arms casually going up and behind her head.
"How much times do you want to loose? We have had seven rematches and I won every time. Next time you should choose a game that I won't read your mind on," Rei said frankly wondering why he was making such a big fuss. Honestly he could of been gone and back at this rate. Jedite pointed at her face dramatically.
"You admit it! You admit you read my mind! That makes all those games null in void," he smirked thinking his logic was iron clad. Houdini couldn't break out of this one!
"It's not against the rules and you knowingly suggested that game. Your loss is your own fault. Oh and don't forget the recycling too you drink so much sake we sound like drinkers with the rattling bag," Rei said then slouching down off the wall and on her stomach playing with a near by candles flame. Jedite scoffed, he knew he lost this battle and no pouting was going to make this better. He got up and made his way out of the room and into the kitchen. After rustling up the bags he herd Rei behind him and noticed her grabbing a bag.
"Hey I lost you don't have to do that," he said looking up to her looking through the dark room he could see her soft smile.
"It's not against the rules to help either," she said sticking out her tongue a trait she picked up from Serenity and hasn't knocked the habit yet. He smiled and grabbed the rest of the trash and started walking out of the shrine and down the stairs. The night air felt really crisp to his yukata robe. They didn't talk on the way down and even after dropping off the trash and recycling and turning to walk up the stairs Rei still said nothing. Instead she snaked her hand into his. Interlacing her fingers with his, then pulling herself close to him hugging on to his arm almost like a shy child would do to their mother. Jedeite looked down to her and smiled, this was the side of Rei she didn't like showing. As they reached the top of the stairs he stopped walking and turned to Rei reaching up to her hair kissing her forehead softly. Suddenly he turned back to the shrine.
"Now about that Sake you said something about," he said with a smirk tugging into the door. Rei rolled her eyes at Jedite's one track mind, eh, at least she got him to take out the trash.
Rei: "Your such a leach,"
Jedite: "Hey! I am not a leach. I am comfortably living off of your kindness,"
