A/N: hey everyone so I've finally decided to give doing one shots a chance again. Basically the chapters will be inspired by songs I heard. Most of the chapters will probably be NaLu and Gruvia, but I am going to attempt to make chapters for each pairing I can think of. I'll also be open to requests of couples you want to see in the future, and song ideas to give me an idea on how I should write about them. I'll also start every chapter by explaining things like if it takes place in an AU, and the characters involved. Hope you enjoy my new story.

It was another snowy day in Magnolia. It's nice to finally be off from work and able to head home. I was talking the same way I usually take to go home when I saw him again.

"Lisanna? Is that you?" the pink haired man said as I got closer.

"Oh hey Natsu." I said back smiling. "It's been awhile."

"Yeah it definitely has." he said scratching the back of his head. Ever since we broke up he's never treated me the same. Maybe he thinks it's awkward now that we're not together anymore. "So how have you been?"

"I've been good. Finally got the dream job I've always wanted as a fashion designer."

"That's good to hear." Natsu said smiling. "I always knew you'd end up there some day."

"How have things been for you?"

"Oh the same as usual. I still train at the gym, waiting for the next fight." I used to go see Natsu's competitions all the time even before we were together. He always talked about wanting to be a fighter and I always had faith he'd make it someday.

"I heard you also met someone new." I brought up.

"Oh you mean Luce." He said shocked I brought that up. "She's a sweet girl. You'd love her if you got to meet her."

"It's good you found someone." I said smiling. Even though things ended between us I was still happy he found someone and wasn't alone.

"Thanks." He said looking down. I wish he didn't feel awkward around me.

"You know we don't have to be strangers Natsu." I say to him. "We've been friends since we were kids, and shouldn't act like we don't know each other anymore."

"I know." He says back.

"I'm serious Natsu. Just because things happened between us doesn't mean we should just forget the other exists."

"I know Lisanna. I'm sorry I've been treating you like I didn't want you around anymore." He finally apologizes.

"It's fine Natsu. Just promise me you'll at least try to make an effort to stay friends." I explain.

"Sure thing." He smiles at me.

"And I would love to meet Lucy if you don't mind." I add. "She sounds nice and I'd love to get to know her."

"Sure thing. I'll bring it up to her after I get home."

"Sounds good." I say putting my arms out. He puts his arms around me to hug me back. I hate to admit it but I miss having these hugs between us. It felt good being in his arms and hearing him tell me how much he loved me. Eventually he lets go of the hug, and we both go our own ways after telling each other goodbye.

Part of me wishes he would have said he missed me. That he realized he loved me and wanted to try to give it one more shot, but I understand that part of our lives is over. Even if he had told me that, I'm not sure I'd be able to do it again. I hope Lucy really does make him happy, and that he does try to contact me again. After all how could anyone forget about someone they've been friends with for years?
