There were some things in life that caused an immense amount of joy but just as quickly as it gave, it left leaving nothing but a memory. There are others, however, that came into your life and would not get the hell out. These were often annoying, trouble-some things like nudist neighbors and fruitcake.

Alfred was one of those things.

Though, which type, Arthur didn't know.

For every fleeting joy of parenthood to every annoyance of spewed hamburger, England found some sort of relief.

Why? Well Arthur didn't exactly know. Everything Alfred did from eating hamburgers to being the 'hero', he could find a fault. But every time he heard his laugh the memory of a small boy came back, laughing about a firefly. Was it the present or the past that he was so caught up in? Because when ever he decided on one, the other became the obvious answer. Arthur really didn't have a clue and as he watched Alfred laughing about his giant robot plans, he wouldn't have it any other way.

Well. maybe with less hamburgers, but c'mon, lets be realistic.
