Cinderheart sat happily by the lake, tails twined with Sorreltail, her mate. Cinderheart had once been Cinderpelt, Leafpool's mentor, and when Cinderheart had gotten over the shock of knowing that Leafpool had hidden Cinderheart's original identity, the two she-cats (Cinderheart and Leafpool) had become mates. Though many cats had sneered at them for being two she-cats in a relationship with mates who weren't toms, Cinderheart and Leafpool didn't care. They continued to be gay.
Ever since the final battle had been won, StarClan had decided to live amongst the Clans. Cinderheart and Crookedstar had become friends, while Leafpool and Oakheart were now partners in crime. It had come as a shock to the whole of ThunderClan when the happy relationship of Cinderheart and Leafpool was shaken because each she-cat blamed the other for allowing Oakheart to run away with Crookedstar. Cinderheart said that Leafpool should've stopped Oakheart from stealing Crookedstar from her; while Leafpool said that Cinderheart should've made Crookedstar see that he couldn't be mates with Oakheart, his brother.
Finally, after many days of pain and distrust, Leafpool dumped Cinderheart and became mates with Brackenfur, Cinderheart's father. Once Leafpool and Brackenfur became mates, Sorreltail was upset and exacted her revenge by going out with her StarClan father, Whitestorm. Every cat in the Clans thought that it was funny to sneak up behind Sorreltail and Whitestorm and yell "BOOOOO!" while the two cats were making out. Whitestorm didn't like this, so he declared that he would have revenge on Yellowfang, who was the last cat to do that. He got his revenge by spilling super glue into Yellowfang's nest while she was out hunting. Heehee…
Cinderheart, alone and broken hearted after losing Leafpool, the love of her life, travelled in search of a friend to take the place of her former mate. After a long afternoon of turning over rocks, she stumbled across Lionblaze and Dovewing, and all three left to become loners within the Clan.
One night in a dream, the StarClan she-cat, Spottedleaf, came to the three friends (Lionblaze, Dovewing, and Cinderheart). She told them that they need to find love in order to complete the new new prophecy, and all three loners obeyed. They searched high and low, and finally, at last they found love.
Lionblaze found that his destiny lay with his new love, Bluestar, a StarClan she-cat. They lived happily together until Lionblaze caught Bluestar making out with Berrynose, at which time Bluestar and Berrynose agreed to share Lionblaze. Dovewing fell madly in love with Brambleclaw, the ThunderClan deputy, who at once begged Dovewing to be his mate. Cinderheart discovered that she was desperately in love with both Sorreltail and Whitestorm, so she is to this day trapped in a love triangle with the two cats.
Soon after the new three (Lionblaze, Dovewing, and Cinderheart) had fulfilled the new new prophecy, Jayfeather, Loinblaze's brother/ Dovewing's cousin/ Cinderheart's first apprentice's former apprentice, became jealous of their new loves. He wanted to stay loyal to his first mate, Half Moon, but Rock and Firestar, who were now mates, would not let Jayfeather go back in time to be Half Moon's mate again. Jayfeather decided that he would get over it someday and proceeded to marry Raggedstar, a StarClan tom.
