Prologue:
Necessary backstory:
Once upon a time, long, long ago…well more like twenty-one years ago, Princess Belle LeParis of House LeParis of Bellesport married her Beast, Prince Adam Walker of House Walker of the Kingdom of Auradon, in front of sixteen thousand of their closet personal friends. Big cake.
Yeah, so instead of a honeymoon, Adam united all twenty of the kingdoms, and got himself elevated to High King of the United Magical Kingdoms of Auradon, the largest multicultural in the world, with a two chambered Parliament, the House of Heroes and Heroines and the House of Sidekicks.
He then spent a year on the battlefield, rounding up the villains and their sidekicks basically all of more interesting people and put them on two broken islands that were quickly named the Isles of the Lost, with magical barrier to keep them there, as well as place an unreasonable war reparations of one hundred thousand dollars a year…yeah the Isles of the Lost are governed over by the bankrupt, poverty-stricken, penniless Council of Villain with the High Four Villains as the monarchs who rule the Isles with an iron fist.
This is our hood. No magic. No Wi-Fi. No way out…or so we thought.
But hey, you're about to meet us, but first this happens…
Magical United Kingdoms of Auradon, outskirts of Auradon City, Beast's Castle, High Prince Ben's Office, August 29, 2014 15:35
High Prince Benjamin "Ben" Florian Walker of House Walkers stood on a platform while being measured for his coronation in about nine months and one day by Lumiere while he absentmindedly stared out his personal office's large bay window at Isles of the Lost, which has a permanent storm cloud over it and the tallest castle in the World, the Forbidden Castle.
"Sleeve," said Lumiere then turning the young prince's head so that he's facing forward, he continues with, "Head. Ah ha."
"How is it possible that you're crowned High King in nine Months tomorrow?" Ben heard his father ask before continuing in a joking tone of voice, "you just a baby."
"Hi Pops," Ben said.
"He's turning sixteen, dear." his mom said to her weird husband.
"Sixteen? That's fair too young to be crowned High King. I didn't make good decisions until I was at least forty-two." his father continued to joke.
"uh, you decided to marry me at twenty-eight, dear." Belle looked at his joking husband in shock.
"It was either you or the teapot." High King Adam continued to joke but quickly realized the danger of the situation and stopped, "kidding, dear."
"Mom, Dad," Ben said to them, trying to defuse what he just know would be a delicate situation by calling out to them from the platform, "I've chosen my first official proclamation. I've decided that the children of the Isles of the Lost should be given a chance to live here in Auradon. Every time I look out to the Isles, I feel like they have been abandoned. And, every single time I read a census report, I found millions of mouths that are starving and that need a shot at a normal life."
Instead of an eruption of disbelief from either one of his parents, Ben received encouraging looks from each, which prompted him to be bold. "We'll start with eight that I've already chosen."
"And their parents are?" High Queen Belle asked him.
"Cruella De Vil," Ben said after taking a deep calming breath, "Jafar, Evil Queen, and Maleficent."
Lumiere dropped his measuring tape and quickly left the young High Prince's Office along with the few Royal Guards that were in the room.
"Son," said High King Adam, "what I'm about to say mustn't left this room, are we clear on that?"
"Yes, Dad." Ben said.
"When your mother was pregnant with you, son, we had an argument over pickles, which ended with me being booted out of the Castle, and with nowhere to go without drawing attention of the press to myself, I went to Isles of the Lost, and I stayed with Maleficent, who already had a five year old son at the time, until your mother came her senses and sent the limo to pick me up. I almost nearly forgot about the affair with Maleficent until the Halloween Night after your birth when I received a letter from the woman herself asking me to betrothal you to your half-sisters, named Mal and Maliva. Your mother and I went there to meet them, and to negotiate the betrothal contract between the three of you."
"So," said Ben slowly, "I'm betrothed to both of my half-sisters. What was the Bride Price for them both?"
"Just under six million dollars" said Belle for her husband, "and a promise that after they set foot on Auradon, the twins will not go back to the Isles of the Lost."
At that, Ben fainted backwards, to which his father said to wife, "he took that well."
