Thunder and then silence…Thunder and more Silence… Again and again this cycled happened.
It seemed this would never end, a never ending stare against her. The field was covered by the remnants of the battle; the surrounding trees were all teared down or burned to cinders. The sky was covered by clouds so dark that it seemed that the sky was covered by a dark liquid.
In the field now remained only three persons: me, the person I loved and my eternal rival. But how did this happened, how did my life ended in this moment? I do not know. I could never hurt her, my sole purpose in life is to make her happy, smile and to protect her, but how can I protect her when we have to fight each other to the death.
But if I didn't fight her everything I strived for, everything I fought for would be in vain. So what should I do?
The decisive moment was coming; she has taken her fighting stance, the fighting stance I was so used to because she always used it when we sparred together, I got so used to it that I was the only one who could break through it. I could easily win this, but that would mean to injure her to death or to kill her instantaneously.
I am not in my fighting stance, but I'm not either without it, because I'm unable to take my sword and wield it properly.
Meanwhile he is just hovering in the air, watching the scene, hoping that either I kill her or I let her kill me, I thought he cared about her, he was my rival in a good way, he was my friend, but now he was just my enemy, my eternal rival.
We are apart by 60 meters, then a lightning hit the ground between us and she starts running towards me… I can't seem to decide yet, I can't hurt her, but I can't let everything I did for her be in vain. She is now 30 meters away, I can't hurt her, I simply can't... I won't fight her, I won't hurt her.
She is now just ahead me; she prepares to attack and then… a slash of red and darkness…
