Mum,
The was an accident today. Chris is in a critical condition next door, they think he might make it but well... Emily wasn't as lucky. I'm by her bed, watching the machine push air in and out of her lungs. In, out, up, down. They think she'll be gone by morning. I hope not things had just started to work, she even said she loved me. That means nothing now. Everything happened so fast one minute we were up the tower keeping watch next we were in a garden as the lawn mower went alight and then all of a sudden Emily was lying on the ground surrounded by flames. I hate to admit it but I was more worried about her than Chris I abandoned my own brother to care for her. That one choice will mean the difference between life and death for both of them and at the moment it sounds like the latter will become true. It's frustrating that it had to happen tonight, Emily and I were asked to come back home and use our degrees. We were going to be able to sit together and work at home. Safe.
I should pay attention to the others, can't bare the thought of them dyeing alone.
