Ziva walked up to the director's office. She needed to talk to someone, but wasn't sure who. Since she had come to NCIS, Jenny had been distancing herself from Ziva, and it was hurting her. Ziva knocked on the door, since Jenny's assistant wasn't there.

"Come in," called Jenny.

Ziva opened the door and entered the office, taking a deep breath.

"Ziva, what can I do for you?"

"It's just... I need to talk to someone, and I don't know who," said Ziva quietly.

"As in a friend?"

"Yes."

"Have a seat." Jenny gave Ziva an encouraging smile.

"Thank you Director."

"You can call me Jenny. What's wrong?"

"I guess you heard about the op today."

"I did. You did a good job."

"I keep thinking I could have done something different."

"Maybe, but you haven't done anything wrong. You defended yourself. But that's not why you're here is it?"

"No."

"Talk to me."

"You have been distancing yourself from me since I started here. Why?"

"I have not."

"Yes, you have. You do not talk to me much. You have made me feel like I am always doing something wrong. You tell me off for no reason. I know that you do that with everyone, but they do not know you like I do. I feel like we are not friends anymore."

"We are friends Ziva. I'm sorry for making you feel that way. I didn't even realise I was doing that. I promise to be more friendly from now on."

"Thank you."
